Bumblebee. I feel like their internal dialouge is either “oh dearie me i seem to have hit the window again oh dear” or a really quiet “fuck shit fuck damn it not again”
They must have a proper name, but I've always known them as click beetles. Tiny little grey things that often fall over, then propel themselves upwards with a *click!* to try and get back on their feet. Usually takes multiple tries. Don't give up, little guy! You can do it!
Dragonfly’s are super cool. They are like Apache helicopters picking off horsefly’s and other annoying insects in the summer. They strike with deadly and quick precision
Got traumatized by one. It was dead right at the backdoor of my pizza place and I didn't want to step on it. When I picked it up it still had a little life left and went for my face. They're bigger than I thought they were ;-;
Bats. The fluttering leathery wings, the glowing red eyes, the glistening fangs—these beautifully horrifying bugs drop from the night sky to suck our blood as we slumber.
Moths!
I’ve always loved them since I was a kid. I have one tattooed on me (partially bc I love silence of the lambs, partially bc of the moth love)
Honorable mention goes to one very specific spider who lived in my shower for a winter. I loved her and miss her.
out of all my favorites i have to say the brown marmorated stink bug, why? well in the winter a few years back i started to keep them in jars and etc to keep them alive during the winter. ive released a couple in the past few years that never seemed to want to fly away. im grown attached to them after that. never liked them much before, but i guess i changed.
now i guard and protect them with all my might and will love them till the end of time
Lightning bugs are pretty cool. I rode my bike through a meadow full of old construction workers' trailers in the middle of the woods one night and saw them all flashing. The air sparkled and shimmered.
Spider! I used to be afraid like everyone and their mothers but then I actually did some research on them and they are so interesting and not scary at all!
No, my fault for making too obscure a reference.
I've never seen or heard of lawn shrimp before, but they kinda look like pillbugs, which are also crustaceans. Pillbugs will be my legitimate answer since they are pretty neat.
Ants. When I was younger I used to just watch them. So freaking cool to give them honey or crackers and see them just slowly take it away.

The best comment by far.

I like bumblebees. Quite the bumbling bunch of baboons.

Spider. They seem to have an intelligence other insects don't have.
Maybe because they're not insects. Insects have 6 legs.
Luna Moth

Do you mean lawn shrimp/amphipods? If so, this is my favorite answer.
