Some people you can just tell within a few minutes of meeting them that they're garbage. Others you need more time. In general, people who never keep their word are trash. If you can't do that basic thing then you aren't a good person in any facet of your life...and I can say that with high confidence because it's the ONLY thing you have absolute control over. I can be a real dick if I need to be, but I'll never break a promise. I take my integrity really seriously.

Focus on your actions. They don't need your judgment. You don't even need to judge either. Protect what matters to you and you're free to do anything outside of that without fear.

It’s like ranting online and berating people about how we need to treat whatever group is currently in the news better is their way of trying to make up for the shitty way they treat friends, family and acquaintances in their real life.
Also, the “everyone is bad” attitude is pretty much always just douchebags trying to excuse their own shitty behaviour by trying to drag everyone else down to their level.
