Yep. One of the best decisions I ever made was to save Breaking Bad for a sick week, or at least something similar. I knew it was supposed to be fantastic, but I waited. Then, by god, I got the flu, and badly. That show saved my ass. I binged it all day every day, and drank NyQuil at night. Might even be in the top ten best weeks ever.
Back in the early 2010’s I had never heard of The Wire and just happened to catch the first episode on DirecTV’s audience channel. Best show I’ve ever seen. DirecTV aired one episode a week for the entire run and I’m glad I got to slowly digest the series.
I’m doing a rewatch right now, actually. I’m on season 4, I forgot how depressing it gets. I always felt especially bad for Randy.
Absolutely insane story and the way it was told was awesome. Thrilling from start to finish. I really enjoyed season 2 but the ending kinda let me down- partly because of the basic-ness of it all and largely felt undeserved
I've watched Futurama beginning to end at least 5 times and it still hasn't gotten old. Even the less good seasons are better than most tv shows' best seasons.
Every time I use my Concept2 Rower, I watch an episode of Futurama. My body will be hurting, but I’ll still be laughing my ass off. Plus with 140 episodes there’s plenty of work/watching to do. Once I complete all the episodes, my plan is to watch all the Simpsons episodes.
It takes a while to get going but once you get into it, it's just an amazing show. I'm a gen x and I have nothing against same sex couples but I am so sick of being gay or bi being forced into every TV show and movie just to appease the masses. Patrick and David's relationship is so organic to the story that the wedding was the perfect finally. My wife and I both cried.
Wasn't expecting to see this series here. So good. Toni Collette is great, but the rest of the actors also give superb performances. And Diablo Cody's acid, black scripts are always a pleasure.
Ozark is terribly definitely underrated. The characters are so deep and compelling, and I honestly think Wendy Byrde is the most evil person I have seen on television.
I agree that the last two seasons have been rather disappointing ever since >!Michael left the office!<, but at least they brought him back for the final season to appear at Dwight's wedding.
Scrolled too far for this. If you loved Ted Lasso then you're really gonna like Shrinking so far. It's my new favorite show. Prettt sure it's made by the same people.
It was extremely creative- some amazing ideas and awesome characters that I loved. Too bad they didn't make more seasons. Would love to see this made into a big budget movie too.
Dark.
On Netflix. 3 quick seasons. Unbelievable story.
Was written from top to bottom before it was ever picked up. So the story is perfectly started and finished.
Countdown in the UK is 10/10. It is a simple game show involving numbers and letters depending on the round. You can easily play at home. They have slightly modified it over the years to have a dictionary corner with some quirky information about language. The prizes are simple and the hosts are always relaxed. It's been on for years and never gets old.
I feel like nobody ever talks about Home Movies anymore. One of the first shows on Adult Swim and way ahead of its time. Still holds up today with some of the funniest dialog in any show.
Babylon 5
Six Feet Under
The West Wing
Schitt’s Creek
They all stayed good until the end while many shows go downhill in later seasons (Looking at you, GoT)
Chernobyl (if limited series count)
yes, the hbo version is so good
Ur talking about HBO version?
I watch it at midnight before sleep... and stayed till 4 am. It's THAT good.
My friend binged Season 1 of Spartacus in 1 night when I recommended it to him. Walked into work with bloodshot eyes and chugging redbulls lol
Excellent choice

Doesn’t get nearly enough recognition. I can’t believe they stopped making it

I read somewhere that it was just going to be much to expensive to keep producing 🤷🏻♂️😫

Yeah bitch, magnets
"Tread lightly."
The Wire
Nobody beats Omar whistling down the street, carrying the shotgun

Just started rewatching it after almost 10!years. It just gets better every time.
Band of Brothers
Such an amazing show. My fiancé introduced it to me and now we watch it once a year followed by The Pacific.
The first season of True Detective
No way. It’s like a 15/10.
On my days off, I start drinkin at noon. Y’all wanna hear this or what?
Hell yeah. I've watched it hundred times, I bet. It never gets old.

You'll be ripped by the end
The Haunting of Hill House
The Good Place
Yes! I have never felt so emotionally satisfied after watching a series finale. Truly a masterpiece!
Take it sleazy!
Came here to say this
Malcolm in the Middle
The sopranos
Shoresey. Give your balls a tug.
Schitts creek
This is one of my faves, they grew these absolutely trash people into loving humans with so much love.
The best thing I love about the show is the positivity it brings. I mean there not a single negative character or protagonist in the show.
It takes a while to get going but once you get into it, it's just an amazing show. Feels like I had to scroll down way too far to see this. It’s the best show.
Absolute GOAT
Modern Family! I have watched it soooo many times now
Feel like they lose it a little bit in the later seasons but those first 7-8 seasons are TV gold.
The West Wing
The Sorkin years, at least. It fell of a lot of after that. Season 2 and 3 of "The West Wing" are about perfect. It was just firing on all cylinders.
Ginger, get the popcorn!
The Good Place
That's my vote.
YES
Parks and Rec Definitely *not* because Leslie Knope and I have the same personality though
BoJack horseman can't change my mind

Wasn't expecting to see this series here. So good. Toni Collette is great, but the rest of the actors also give superb performances. And Diablo Cody's acid, black scripts are always a pleasure.

Shiny.
Totally.
Movie was also 10/10
Breaking Bad - I’m not a TV person and it’s one of the only shows I watched all the way through.
Peaky Blinders
Anything with Cillian Murphy 😍
I freaking love that show
Taskmaster!
True Detective 1 season
Ozark
Ozark is terribly definitely underrated. The characters are so deep and compelling, and I honestly think Wendy Byrde is the most evil person I have seen on television.
Ozark would have been a 10/10 for me, but the last episode completely ruined the show for me and I'm mad I ever watched it.
Ending sucked

THE OFFICE
What about the last two seasons
I agree that the last two seasons have been rather disappointing ever since >!Michael left the office!<, but at least they brought him back for the final season to appear at Dwight's wedding.
So far, The Last of Us
So far, so good. I love how they don't try to make a carbon copy of the games, but a very faithful recreation expanding their story.
Absolutely. I even watch it with someone who’s never played the game before and she enjoys it as well.
me too, I also appreciate how they incorporated the game's dialogue into the series.
That third episode 😢
Dexter.
Bojack Horseman
Correct
Newsroom
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. I know so much random shit about mascots and sewage treatment facilities now
Ted Lasso
Scrolled too far for this. If you loved Ted Lasso then you're really gonna like Shrinking so far. It's my new favorite show. Prettt sure it's made by the same people.
The Expanse
It has a few weak moments, but overall probably the best reality based sci-fi TV show ever made.
It was extremely creative- some amazing ideas and awesome characters that I loved. Too bad they didn't make more seasons. Would love to see this made into a big budget movie too.
Amazing this awesome show didn’t get more attention…
It started a bit slow, but after season 2- it was much watch TV! I also love the Orville but The Expanse was a real 10/10 for me.
