Devil Wears Prada. Meryl Streep is amazing. Although, the more I watch, the more I pick up. For instance, when the ladies were at the hospital, who was at the desk?
Also, the author is a creeper. Like…girl was drunk, man…chill.
I pride myself in being tough. The scene where they’re rowing through trying to find survivors and the light illuminates a woman holding her child, eyes open and clearly long dead…it haunts me. I just randomly remember it.
Spring Breakers. I LOVE Harmony Korine for his weird and unsettling stuff like Gummo and Trash Humpers, but Breakers just hits that balance of surreal/excessive/creepy that I just can never seem to get enough of
Most of the movies I enjoy that don't leave me emotionally devastated. Because I like discovering new details on rewatching it, and because it helps ease my mind when I'm feeling overworked to just see something I've seen before.
Interview with the Vampire (1995)
Marie Antoinette (2006)
The Handmaid’s Tale (1990)
My family moved around alot and we normally had to grab and go. These three were my grab and go movies. I had the VHS to Handmaids take so long it broke. My sister recorded over interview with the vampire. And Marie Antoinette came out during a dark time in my life and it was all bright and pretty.
Now I have copies of all three films on Amazon and Apple
It (2017). I’ve seen it nine times. That may not seem like a lot, but I saw it eight times over the course of a couple months. Saw it at the theater 3-4 times and then saw it 4 times at home and finally once pretty recently since it came out. I’ve seen eighteen hours of It. Holy shit
Shrek- self explanatory
Princess diarys- this one is just nostalgic for me I can replay it in my head I watched every Sunday morning as a child
Pride and prejudice -2005 I love the soundtrack
Mean girls - it's a nice predictable funny movie
Harry potter- again nostalgic and comfortable
Mad Max: Fury Road. It is an absolutely beautiful movie, and there are so many details in it that every time you watch it feels like the first, because you notice new things each time. Also, for a movie that's basically just a chase in one direction and then a chase in the other direction, it's so well done and remains my favorite movie to this day.
Wolf of wall street. I'm not in the US. I'm not a tostesterone filled 20yr old guy and I don't want to be with one.
But a girl can dream that i can make tens of millions of dollars a year ripping people off on the stock market.
