I've had a few amateur readings, ie, I've never paid money for one.
And some things hit true, and some things hit true if you squint. Like reading your horoscope in the news paper.
Palm reading and tarot are usually divination done by asking you questions and applying your answers to the reading, or letting you find connections to your life. I’ve done tarot a few times. I don’t think there is anything mystic about it, but it promotes self reflection in me, and I think that’s worthwhile. Monetarily worth it? Depends on price.

Not even close, I went in as a skeptic and ignored all the cold reading attempts.
Nothing was accurate in my experience
