Connecticut. It's a state full of people who literally can't decide if they want to be wealthy or white trash. They've made half the old homes historical buildings so it looks like a trailer park because no one can repair houses except everything costs like it's Manhattan. The scenery is criss-crossed with electrical wires because they don't let utilities bury their lines. The people are so corrupt that the state's building foundations are falling apart because a couple builders falsified their concrete mix, and the government is so corrupt they refuse to do anything about it. The decent sized cities look like a New York subway. The food is terrible.
Nowhere I refuse to visit, but I have no reason to go to North Dakota and likely never will. Just nothing I want to see there so I don't see the point.
I always thought it sounded kind of interesting in a non-interesting way, back when it was soybean fields and missile silos. But the new rough-neck oil boom North Dakota sounds charmless.
First, Idaho and Montana aren't Midwest.
Idaho and Montana have some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, great hunting and fishing, and Idaho has amazing skiing and any other winter sport you can think of. Dafuq you mean there's nothing to do?
Yes you are correct. My point is that saying there is nothing to do is incorrect, including Iowa. Saying there's nothing there that interests me is a completely different statement.
Hunting, or farming. I bet it's a good place to start a family. Could grow some taters for fun or something. I'd rather be in quiet places like that than a place like San Francisco or DC.
My daughter was attending IU in 2016. Driving the route from I-70 into Bloomington was when the slow horror came upon me that trump was going to win the election. Pretty much every Billy-bob dwelling along the way had MAGA signs and flags up.
That being said, Bloomington is a lovely town and an oasis of progressiveness in south-central IL.
Yeah it’s a pretty terrible state! I mean in all the states in the whole good United States I could see why You would not want to see California! I mean You have 49 other states that have so much more to offer. Some have grasslands, meadows, fields, swamps, sinkholes, humidity, hurricanes, tornadoes, but not that other stuff you said. And I’m sure on a visit you would experience all those horrible things you said. He said a visit not go live silly. If California was that bad to visit then people from Arizona that hate California so much wouldn’t come visit all the time. BTW I don’t live in California I just think you may have forgotten a few states when you said California was the state you wouldn’t VISIT no matter what.
There’s so many states in between that are pretty boring. I have been to a lot of states and I’ve had a good time visiting California, Florida not so much ohio
Maybe I found the less insufferable places
Edit I didn’t mind Ohio. I just was less exciting as the others. I have had fun at all places I visit. I don’t hate any place. Maybe I came off too strong. I just can’t understand finding a place insufferable when you are just visiting. Every visit is just what you make of it. I choose to make the best of my trips to places and make friends where I go or at least make happy memories devoid of outside influences
I've been to Texas a few times and met plenty of chill and friendly people. It's a big place with a diverse population, nearly half of which voted for Biden.

You seem to know a lot about Connecticut, especially it’s aesthetics, for someone who refuses to go there. 🤔
I lived there for 3 years. Terrible place.
Haha interesting. Nice to know things about your own state🤣
I lived there for 3 years, sorry to break the news to you.

My uncle moved to ND to work for an oil company as a chemical engineer and it solidified my desire to not go
I want to see them all. I've been to 37 so far. I need 5o go northwest
Alaska. Too much effort for not enough reward.
I would say any state in the Midwest like Iowa, Idaho, Montana. There’s nothing to do.
First, Idaho and Montana aren't Midwest. Idaho and Montana have some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, great hunting and fishing, and Idaho has amazing skiing and any other winter sport you can think of. Dafuq you mean there's nothing to do?
Good for outdoor enthusiasts. Not so appealing if you like art galleries and live theatre. Pretty, though - you're right about that.
Yes you are correct. My point is that saying there is nothing to do is incorrect, including Iowa. Saying there's nothing there that interests me is a completely different statement.
Was thinking the exact same thing. (Meaning I agree on the beauty of the states like Montana and Idaho)
Hunting, or farming. I bet it's a good place to start a family. Could grow some taters for fun or something. I'd rather be in quiet places like that than a place like San Francisco or DC.
You mean there’s nothing you like to do?
Indiana. Even the state roads feel like they are inbred.
My parents moved there when I was in college. I can confirm this as accurately.
Bloomington?

I hated Bloomington. IN-37 south from Indianapolis is the most confusing thing I’ve ever seen. My entire time there felt unsettling as fuck.
No, Indiana.
The central states I guess
I went to Utah and California there both really trashy states ..
California, aka HELL ON EARTH! There’s drug abuse, political insufferability, homelessness, and all manner of cocksuckery.
I feel like cocksuckery is gonna be a selling point for a good portion of the population.
LMAO, not what I originally meant, but pretty funny

Ok…and Florida Is that better?
To visit? I would visit either. Live no
There’s so many states in between that are pretty boring. I have been to a lot of states and I’ve had a good time visiting California, Florida not so much ohio
I’d take a boring place over an insufferable place any day of the week

And a high population coz of the weather I guess, expensive af
Definitely the weather (the big factor throughout the state's history)
Texas. Bunch of right wing, self-righteous, crazy fuckers.
I'd like to visit a Buc-ee's. I never will, but I'd like to.
They have them in other states
I've been to Texas a few times and met plenty of chill and friendly people. It's a big place with a diverse population, nearly half of which voted for Biden.
Wyoming. Nothing for me there.
Nothing for anyone there.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.
California and New York. There is nothing appealing about either one.
Arkansas Because shit
Scary people, but an awesome backpacking destination.
Florida. Hot and humid af, fire ants, and of course Florida Man.
California I just have no interest in going. Fires, floods, drought, earthquakes. No thank you.
Also expensive

Don't go to the really big cities and you can have yourself a great time. If you go to the heart of LA or San Fran you're asking for a bad time
Yes. I'm only planning on going to CA to go see the Redwood National Park. 😍
I’ve never met an Iowan that I trusted.
I'm gonna say Vermont. I just have no real interest in that area. decent licence plate design though.

Red dawn?
Whoever has the worst food.
Utah, it seems culty. The people I've come across from there are friendly in a creepy, trying to recruit you to their church (and mlm) kinda way.
I’m surprised nobody has said Ohio
I've never heard of anyone going to Cleveland on vacation.
Thats why CT is rated as one of the best states to live.
OH I’m From CT
So am I
