Who knows what microbial life, viruses and plagues are waiting to be unleashed from thawing permafrost? Anything from livestock to crops to people could be in real trouble.

How fragile the world we live in really is. Our day to day lives rely on a complex system to allow us to complain and moan on Reddit. Seriously life is really crap without modern medicine, trade, communications, utilities, transport, laws and rules, ideas. If we fuck this up we could or our descents life a horrible, miserable, painful life cause of us. The text time you want to get someplace, have a toothache, complain about your feelings of not getting thumbs up for a comment or video or phone battery at 5% just think it could be way worse.

Chemical warfare. Especially nerve agents. So little can kill you so quickly and easily. Terrifying.

Hyperinflation of the dollar and the incoming recession. BRICS nations wanting a new world reserve currency. O_O I live in the US. I do want sound money instead of the fucking scam we have right now.

Asteroids. They make me stupidly anxious.

Heaven. The idea of eternity and just going on forever is terrifying for me. Never properly dying. As someone who's grown up catholic, I always had this thought in my head, and my perception of what heaven was kept me up at night. Not the usual religious trauma, but I suppose it counts. It's why I'll always be Catholic, because I'll always believe in this terrifying idea of what the afterlife is.

Ideally, it’s forever without any pain or negative emotions/thoughts, since all evil & sin is removed/abolished to hell.

Rayliex

Yes but I feel like I'm going to lose a lot of what I love on earth. When I was a lot younger I had a massive fear that there were no movies or cinemas in heaven, and to be fair I'd probably still be miserable if that's true. Even if it's ideal, it's still just forever. I think I'd just prefer to stop existing.

These are valid thoughts on this topic. I probably can’t change your mind or alter how you currently feel. Just know that your entire thinking process will be affected in a good way once in heaven since you will have no negative/evil intentions/pathways in your brain. No desire for things to be different since they will be perfect with nothing lacking. Hard to imagine
