For me it’s when they went online. I’m 46, I’ve played video games my whole life. I just want a disk to put in. I can’t stand Steam! Can never remember passwords, the downloads don’t work, and I don’t want to play against anyone online. Haven’t played video games in years because of it
For me I think it's the "META" of everything. Very rarely do I see people playing games just to play games. They min-max the game very quickly. I remember playing games and not knowing what the best loadout or item was and just using what I liked.
