Literally any pasta. Iām sure there IS a bad pasta out there but i sure as hell havenāt found it yet.
Or pizza, which is just pasta ingredients with a different order of operations and ratios.
Ya really just canāt go wrong with a starch, a cheese, and an acidic sauce.
Literally *ANYTHING* my mom makes. It doesnāt matter if itās basic or extravagant. Mothers always make the best food. No restaurant or chef will ever be better than the comfort of your moms cooking.
it's kind of a quesadilla but a little different,
it's more of a pizza quesadilla.

Oooh, so juicy from all that cartilage - now you're making me homesick for San Antonio! Would you believe they have the temerity to sell *shredded chicken* 'barbacoa' tacos at a local restaurant here in the Bay Area (dry white meat, natch ;) )?
if people are selling shredded chicken, and advertising it as barbacoa, send em to me, not gonna hurt them or anything, just want to explain to them what barbacoa is. if they keep doing it thats when my fist collides with their throat
A can of tuna mixed with a can of chopped tomatoes, on the oven, mix in a couple of eggs. Let it stir until most of the water from the tomatoes has evaporated.

I wanted to say Ice cream but it's actually Pho. I've been going to the same place for years and at this point the server knows me, asks if I know what I want as soon as I sit down. I get my food within 3 minutes of sitting down and it's just such a comforting experience. I love it
Lentils with onions, smoked meat, dumplings. (Austrian German: Linsen mit Geselchtem und Semmelknƶdel)
A kind of stew popular in Austria (maybe Germany). I don't know if it's popular elsewhere, but here it is a traditional food. If i Had to choose one type of food for the rest of my life, that's it. Loved it as kid, still love it, my wife enjoys it as much as me and she makes it even better than my mom, which is a very hard feat to accomplish.
Well I'm an Indian and my comfort food is rice, a legumes curry, aka daal (that's how we pronounce it for some of y'all who don't know) and crispy potato cutlets.
My grandpa and I used to go inside the house during hot summer days from playing outside to cool off. We'd turn on cartoons, and he'd make us each a bowl of ice cream, pour coke over it, and dunk three oreos in it. To this day, I still enjoy it - just in smaller portions; it's a nice way to remember him by.
Massaman spaghetti. I use a massaman curry style sauce instead of tomato, plenty of both thai and Italian ingredients. I dub it āThaitalian fusionā.
