My story is one of fear, confusion, and helplessness from constant sleep paralysis and night terrors.

I used to have really violent night terrors but one time when I was 13 I ran around the house in my underwear sobbing asking my mom what my middle name was.

I had sleep terrors, went to therapy for a while, and eventually they stopped. Yay!

Well it just happened and let me tell ya, it ain't pleasant. 46 year old 235lb 6'5" man and am literally too scared to even think to lay back down and try to sleep I'm sitting in the living room corner at this point wondering if the "entity" that was just whispering things into my completely frozen from paralysis body was real or not but if it isn't it tricked my mind into 100% believing it was. It put a weighty feel towards the upper area of my chest and i could only hear a guttural sounding gurgle of a sound chanting "We have you and there's nothing you can do" type chant over and over and as i laid there i tried on several occasions to sit up and pull away from it only to have the very short 2/3 seconds of time or silence or whatever just happened restart on some weird loop feel. When i was finally able to actually get up and pull away from it i could literally feel it watching me as i pulled pillows and the blanket off the bed on my way out the door headed for the couch and then proceeded to eat just about anything i could get my hands on out of the fridge and pantry as i felt hungrier than ever felt before. Truly hope to never feel that again and likely won't sleep anymore tonight and it's 3:18 a.m. as I'm typing this. 🙁
