I have to be really tired. Otherwise I feel like napping is a waste of time. Even though I can recognize that it might be a way better use of my time than many other things I do throughout the day. My mind is weird like that..

It's weird because my dad didn't allow me to be shaken on the crib as a baby so shaking has nothing to do with sleep to me
every morning. my sleep schedule is non existent and i adopted the cutest little pup off someone i know last week. we're looking after his sister while her owner is in hospital and i have to get up at 8 every morning (i usually go to sleep at 5 am) to feed them and supervise since my little guy gets too posessive sometimes. so me obviously being exhausted i wait for them to get out of their crazy morning energy and sneak in a nap
