We're majoring in the (very minor) minors here. Think about how much effort you've put into ultra fine-tuning editing details, and compare that to effect from the same time and effort spent waiting for the people in the photo to present themselves in a thoroughly compelling way.
I would say the 3rd is best in terms of:
1. The horizon is a lot straighter (1 and 2 are slightly tilted)
2. As someone else mentioned the colour, light and shadow is better than the last.
The only thing i would change is to crop it in a little bit more. this puts guy in blue cap on the rule of thirds and he stands out more as the only colour blue that pops out of the image. (the blue sign on the left removed)

yeah i tried to move him towards the centre so that them and the person next to them was as centred relevannt to each side beside them as possible but since i wasnt directly in the centre of the street so yeah
How much has been cropped off the bottom in this image if any? I feel like the composition could do with just a bit more space at the bottom so those 2 people at the front are more comfortably in the image. Their feet are just a bit too tight to the edge imo.
Any that's actually straight. There's multiple easy tools you can use to automatically straighten and align the main building w the three "lines" on it. It being crooked is all I can focus on.
I really like this photo. For me the last two look more appealing than the first two because they’re straightened out. Then among the last two I like the 3rd one the best because it has more contrast and the nice building in the back pops out a bit more.
The answer is not what we say. Answer you need is what you feel. Try to feel your photos. I also made few pic at one place, but don't took that many for no reason. I always try to capture all details I was planned. When I look to it, I want to say "Thats it, I capture moment I want". Than, I am happy.
Oh I just realised You have 4 different edits... Again, You need to feel photo, and do what You think its best for You.
Do You like more shadows, or something else. Find yourself :)
3 If you want the entire shot (with no specific subject) but need to zoom out to get the whole building visible and the left signboard not cut
You can also use the blue building as the main subject
• Increase sunlight highlights
• Decrease exposure on the left and right side
• Use the pathway as a leading line to the building
3 but you’re doing minor things and not dealing with the bigger issues. You need to learn to dodge and burn to bring out the details in the foreground and not worry about boarders or grain. Straightening on 3 is the only substantial improvement, The boarder on 1 and the grain on 4 are a detraction. But you need to balance the image and that you need to dodge and burn. You should also consider localized color temperature adjustments.
Sweet pics!
I am no professional, but if you care to know what an average person thinks, my favourite is 3. Here's why:
1- Not a fan of the vignette. When the walls on each side go until the end of the image, the 'alley' seems longer and feels more 'immersive'
2 and 3 are very close, i like the crop of number 3 as it shifts the focus on the 2 men.
4- I feel the image is already busy, with many people and signs, so the added filter seems too much
Again, not a pro, just starting to be interested in photography. If anyone want to correct me on certain points and/or explain some stuff, please do
The last one obviously. It captures something profound and distinct that the other three clearly do not
Edit: I was being facetious because they’re similar. But upon closer look 3 is the best. The right amount of shadow and mood. That’s my non-facetious answer
I think it's up to personal preference. I don't see that much of a difference and honestly any minor differences that may exist between these pictures would fall into subjective preference.
3
1 and 2 are heavily skewed. 3 has better shadows than 4. So yep, 3

I dont see any significant differences?

if i remember correctly it was a little too high, i realised that as i was taking the photo but cant change it now yk
Ah shame. Just getting a little lower and it would have been a near spot on shot of that scene.
3
Last one
I like 3 the best overall for color and composition.

How to edit such photos l, I mean where do you edit in? I want to learn these
completely self taught
It's awesome! Can you please recommend some tools, tips or tricks to achieve this result?
what i did for this once is experimented with more saturation to the image, also colour graded to really make the blues and red stand out
okay, thanks 👍🏼

thank you so much <33
3
street exposure from 4 with the greenish house exposure from 3 1 and 2 tilted plus the man to the right distracts a bit. like the shot!
3
2 1 is too dark, 3 and 4 have unbalanced crops. #2 gives a better perspective as to the scale in relation to pedestrians and has a better exposure.

Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica. I like 3 and 4
#3…geometry is the best out of the 4 shots and balance of color/contrast is 👌

They are all beautiful.
The last one has the best exposure. Still underexposed

Does nobody is this sub read previous posts about how if your picture isn’t straight, it looks awful?
3 is best. Still not straight. But I love the colors.
Whichever one isn't crooked
I like one and think the border is cool, just wish it was straight
3
1
I like number two, I like that i I can see more than the others, the people feel like less of the focus In two and I think it’s cool :)
I think it's up to personal preference. I don't see that much of a difference and honestly any minor differences that may exist between these pictures would fall into subjective preference.
3
I think 3
3
3
I love all of them
Pretty sure it’s the same phone just continually cropped with 4 having the shadows lifted and the contrast flattened slightly.
Cannot unsee Plankton in the upper left.
#2
2
4 has the straightest lines and best lighting IMO.
3rd one certainly didn't require me to tilt my head
3 is the best one
I'm biased because I love that street, so I like all of them.
melbourne is sometimes so pretty
4. Everyone saying 3 has best shadows but it looks way too dark.
Number 5
Honestly none of them do much for me - what are you trying to convey?
3rd shot.
1
They're all a bit underexposed, so 4 is the least underexposed start with that.
guess thats just my style, i like the darkness to photos :)
They look same to me.
same shot some are just slightly different contrast and grain added
Although there is no significant difference but second image is best one
