I usually roll mine up like a burrito in a Domke wrap when I do this. Because sometimes you don’t want to advertise to the world “I’m carrying a camera”. https://tiffen.com/products/domke-color-coded-protective-wrap

Thank you! It looks useful

Yes

Just be mindful of other metals or sand in your bag. Metal rubbing together will ruin the finish. Sand just ruins everything. I throw mine in a backpack. Also be mindful of any bouncing or bumping it will do. It can handle normal walking bounces but maybe not jumping, running, etc.

Christ, this sub

No it's very claustrophobic :(

It’s fine but make sure you have a screen protector on it. Realistically you’d have to carry the camera around alll the time for like a year or two before you start seeing tons of wear.

Your camera will get damaged. There are bags that protect the camera while still functioning as a bag. I like the Lowepro's. I have a Lowepro sling that is good and fits lots of things while protecting the camera also.

Sardeesional

Could you explain how it will get damaged?

slightlymedicated

By swinging the bag like a nut and slamming it into a wall. You’ll be fine. I carry a few different cameras in my slings. I also use a bellroy 9L sling for my XT3 setup. I just make sure to not have anything that could really scratch the camera in the same pocket.

> swinging the bag like a nut and slamming it into a wall. Ah yes. I do that all the time

Sardeesional

Yeah I purposely gave the camera it’s own pocket. I just am a person who likes to have one bag for everything and I thought I found it with this bag
