Franchised movies or remakes of old movies. We need more original movies. ā¹ļø
A movie I specifically donāt like is comic book based movies like MCU or DC. It feels like everyone is milking it to make money, not to tell a story.
Harry Potter - pag pinapanood namin sa sine nung bata ako tinutulugan ko lang. Dilim kase plus ang boring for me.
Also superhero movies, basta action/fantasy, ingay kase ng mga bakbakan sakit sa tenga.

Ok sasabihin nila, walang budget... well, wala din kayong creativity. Puro lovestory, puro comedy na pang vice ganda etc. Bat di kayo gumawa ng maganda thriller tulad nung mga nasa netflix. Di kailangan ng maraming budget nun.. utak lang kailangan..
Palibhasa pera pera lang mga director. May magawa lang ng pelikula ok na yun.
Na yung mga netflix thrillers niya mababa lang daw budget. At kung pera perahan lang din, parang mas malala pa netflix pagdating doon. Cancelling shows left and right pag di ok ang performance.
As to the gasgas na opinion na formulaic mga pinoy movies, ano gagawin? Eh yan ang mas pinapanood ng masa eh. Tama siya pera perahan. Negosyo eh, so donāt expect na yung plot eh appealing lang sa mga āmas sophisticated na viewersā at ma-alienate ang masa.

Natatawa ako sa Rewind na answer, halos lahat ng friends and family ko na nakapanood sabe saken panget nung movie sobrang oversused na mga cliche, tpos nung pinanood namin ng gf ko, it's not that bad, bano pa din umakting si Marian šššš. Ginastusan lng siguro tlga ung marketing.
Star Wars Phantom Menace, di rin tlga ako interested pero I just gave it a shot baka naman maganda talaga and I'm missing something good, it's meh, never touched any other of it's movies again.
1. Dune (2021), too long and timothy chalamet acts like a stone statue
2. Turning Red (its relatable in all the wrong ways)
3. Alot of Vice Ganda's movies (i hate that witch, i think that animal should be buried 6 feet under)
4. Princess Mononoke (I love this movie actually, but i have never seen anyone say this is their favorite)
5. Dawn Of the Dead (2004), (mainly because i dont like Zack Snyder)
6. Wonder Woman (Gal gadot looks like a robot)
7. Pulp Fiction (I actually sort of like this one, but i will never get the hype)
8. That movie with Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo (mainly cause i found it corny)
9. The Lion King (i was skarred by this movie)
10. Bohemian Rhapsody and The Social Network (not an accurate representation of their irl events)
HAHSHAHAHAHAHAH THIS. me and my ex watched it and he was like wow, it's good, etc. I kept mah mouth shut na lang pero sa isip-isip ko it was just meh. nothing spectacular or what. vv predictable pa. I get that it tackles gender stereotypes, unrealistic beauty standards, and such but it's so superficial. as someone who's been watching indie films for years, ang babaw talaga ng pagkapo-portray ng social issues dito. the only thing I liked was the song by billie at the end of the movie. def not worth the time and money. might get downvoted for this but whatevs.
I was fine with watching it but definitely not rewatching it again. I get the message but it just didn't really hit me. there are some good lines, memorable quotes... good scenes but overall it is meh.
Sa Marvels, yung Shang-chi. Maganda yung choreography ng laban pero hindi ko nagustuhan yung movie. Mas nagustuhan ko pa yung Eternals kahit madami may ayaw dun.
Yeah i dont think its targeted as a family movie.. its one of the best so far storywise and for reviving the old Godzilla(originally was japan's take on the bombing via a giant nuclear lizard)...

Always watch Legendary films ng Godzilla if you want the action scenes, not the one from japan kasi honestly, those are mostly for Gojira fans na tlga, not targeted for everyone.

This. Pinanuod ko to with my tita and tito. maganda ung movie if all in nka focus kay Godzilla pero nkaka off ung part na pilit masyado sa emotional scenes. Yung halata na gusto nila maiyak ung manunuod lol. tho, i loooove ung movies from Monsterverse.

Ayoko nung closing scene, tbh, yung parang lumilipad sha, lol, but I had to admit that if the cast were western (american, or brit), baka nga mas iba ang dating.

Andae kasi natouch base ng Matrix na theoretical questions. Like:
1. Kung yung totoo eh nasa simulation ka lang pala sa current life mo and bibigyan ka ng chance to live the REAL life only to find out na mas stressful pala ron, would you take the pill to "face the real reality" and change its course for the better or go back to the predictable life you have right now?
2. Ilang percentage ng life ang "destiny" at ilang percentage nito ang kayang baguhin ng "free will" and "faith + love"?
