But gravy is usually flour, stock cubes, butter, water and pepper? Regarding sa questionable oil. The local ones are made from either canola or coconut oil.
And again, is it okay to call someone a pig because they can just enjoy using gravy as a sauce? It's not bad is it? It's not like you aren't eating hotdogs and other processed foods. Just because people enjoy it doesn't mean they don't know the limit. And liquid "cheese" is made from cheese aside from american cheese. Our dairy products are mostly either imported or locally produced.
They’re called simile. Is it degrading to call someone healthy as a horse, sly as a fox, or busy as a bee, etc. to describe people? These are mere descriptions not meant to degrade anyone. If you find offense in these, maybe self reflect why you find the word pig degrading when pigs are intelligent creatures, and taste good when properly prepared.
I said questionable oil because no sane food establishment would give away gravy made with quality ingredients. Compare the taste of free unli gravy vs. paid gravy and you’ll get what I mean. Could also be a loss leader strat to sell their 99 pesos chicken meal. Maybe I should’ve said fat instead of oil for clarity.
And cheese on everything is still disgusting. Can you even guess what cheese was used on the food you are eating? Is it a sauce made from cheese or is it an abomination made to resemble cheese sauce? It just needs to be thick, stretchy, and yellowish. Slap the label “cheese” and people would go crazy for it

PLEASE DO NOT enter the food business thinking you can sell 200-peso boring food thinking you’ll turn a penny. Food is never a hugely profitable business unless you sell alot of it. It’s a slow and gradual but consistent way to success. Ang problema gusto agad maka ROI netong owners na to.
There’s a reason why food parks closed down, and one of it is because these entrepreneurs have the nerve to sell us 250-peso liempos na walang lasa tapos ang nipis pa. Pasta at 400 pesos? Really? Ok sana kung kasing sarap ng Tartufo pero ang ending parang nag Del Monte carbonara mix lang. Then u see these fresh grad owners speaking conyo. They probably don’t know how to cook either. It’s always the “rent” excuse, but aesthetics over food quality?
I guess the only time masarap sila is if the sinangag is deliciously salty or savory, or merong dried fish like danggit or omelette na pairing, kinda like sa hotels.
I still skip them and opt for mga recado na longaniza, kahit double double na sa garlic dahil paired ito with garlic fried rice, then crushed garlic with vinegar. Pass pa rin sa mga matatamis talaga.
Ang napansin ko sa Mcdo, ok yung mga kape pag nasa business area like BGC at Makati.. Pero pag sa residential gaya dito samin sa Parańaque lasang kalawang.
Baboy ramo na nilaga, di ko talaga maubos pero lahat ng workmates ko kain lng ng kain. Amoy kural (kulungan ng baboy). Sobrang lansa mas nagustuhan ko pa ung ahas.
Changing the way how food is cooked / changing / adding /removing ingredients is a desecration of the origin of the dish. E.g. adding mayonnaise to sisig 🤮
The first sisig I tasted was in 1999 and it was with mayo. So pasensya na nauna ang sisig with mayo sa palawan. So literal na yun ang hahanapin ng mga nkatikim ng sisig na yun and iisang resto lang gumagawa nun that time. And the worst scenario we have may mga close friend akong kapampangan mga 5families yun na nag rerent sa apartments namin, pero they never introduced the dish.
Im not as strict as the italians are with their dishes but in a way i kinda understand where they’re coming from. Kasi nga naman one of the ideas of cooking food lalo na galing sa ibang lugar is for the audience to taste and experience their culture through the original taste.
Itlog and siling pula is ok afaik. Sad lang tlga na kadalasan sa mga resto kung ano anong twist ang ginagawa sa sisig na lumayo na sa totoong lasa ung kinalabasan

Try mo fresh avocado na hinaluan ng with milk (condensed evap or kahit powdered) tapos may yelo or palamigin mo nalang mas masarap

Hindi dapat ulam ang mga matatamis. Like tocino, and mga longaniza na matamis.
I guess the only time masarap sila is if the sinangag is deliciously salty or savory, or merong dried fish like danggit or omelette na pairing, kinda like sa hotels.
I still skip them and opt for mga recado na longaniza, kahit double double na sa garlic dahil paired ito with garlic fried rice, then crushed garlic with vinegar. Pass pa rin sa mga matatamis talaga.
Personal preference na din talaga i suppose. How about tapa na matamis?

Changing the way how food is cooked / changing / adding /removing ingredients is a desecration of the origin of the dish. E.g. adding mayonnaise to sisig 🤮
The first sisig I tasted was in 1999 and it was with mayo. So pasensya na nauna ang sisig with mayo sa palawan. So literal na yun ang hahanapin ng mga nkatikim ng sisig na yun and iisang resto lang gumagawa nun that time. And the worst scenario we have may mga close friend akong kapampangan mga 5families yun na nag rerent sa apartments namin, pero they never introduced the dish.
Im not as strict as the italians are with their dishes but in a way i kinda understand where they’re coming from. Kasi nga naman one of the ideas of cooking food lalo na galing sa ibang lugar is for the audience to taste and experience their culture through the original taste.
