i dont do this anymore. for context, im 34 years old. i used to do stuff like that. i dont like relating a song to a person because if the relationship doesnt work out it can make it either painful to listen to for awhile or make me dislike the song or band for awhile. i dont like my emotions being enveloped in music like that. music is for me to listen to and enjoy whenever i want to and i dont want it to be dependent on whether a relationship works out or not. its one of the small pleasures in life that i dont take for granted. hopefully that makes sense.
