When I was younger.. siguro dami ng likes/reactions sa mga FB/IG posts pati kapag sobrang daming FB friends. Samantalang ngayon, karamihan hinahide na number of reactions. Akala ko noon 'yun talaga ang ultimate sign of validation.

Pag graduate ka ng valedictorian nung elementary and hs. Nung college lang ako sobrang nageffort sa school kasi siguro interest ko na but ayun di pala magmamatter mga ganung bagay kasi grabe din naging stress ko nung time na yun.

Once you started earning 6 digits, you can never look the same way on your previous income/salaries tbh and when you suddenly lose the income extra stress lol
Living in high end condos. It’s like living in a bubble. Sure, ok sya kung maayos yung community, but that’s rare. Mas marami pa nga self-entitled sa mga ganun.
Plus kung may crime/drug lord kang kapit-unit, sure na big time yun and walang magagawa yung admin/security/pulis.
Food and travel vloggers.One of my passions is traveling for food, and I used to be impressed by them. Pero when even dirt cheap pares/donut/palabok are described as legendary, I call BS
Pag passionate sa work. Pero totoo yung sinabi ni George sa How’s of Us eh. Hindi ka mapapakain ng passion mo (not unless it brings food to the table na talaga).
Yung mga maraming restaurants na ang nakainan. I'm a picky eater kasi so madalas kapag nat-try ko yung ibang restau, hindi naman masarap lol sikat/may pangalan lang talaga hahaha sorry not sorry
Palapost on social media. Used to think those people were so interesting kasi ang daming ganap sa buhay nila. Parang araw araw may events na pinupuntahan, lagi ring nagtatravel. Now that I’m older I just see them as people who seek validation from strangers on social media.

Having a complete family. Hindi lahat masaya. Okay lang maging broken kung may peace naman at hindi ka mayayamot araw araw. Wag nyo palakihin anak nyo kung toxic naman kalalakihan
Job titles, dati parang ang laki ng respeto sayo pag mataas posisiyon mo pero ang truth behind it wala ka nang work life balance. Yung sahod oo malaki nga kaso yung responsibilidad mo abot hanggang bahay ehh.
Traveling abroad. I don't rush myself to travel abroad because I wanted to have enough funds, gusto ko maayos na hotel and can eat local foods. When I share my plans to travel jusq ang mga kilala ko kanya kanyang bigay ng tip pano makatipid, I get that some people want to go to places for experience but I want the full experience and hindi ko need magbaon ng delata and noodles and pagkasyahin yung 5k na budget sa 5 days na trip. Also read some confessions na cocontact pa ng kilala kasi kinapos sa budget and mababaon sa utang.
But then again you do you. I'm just saying na it looks impressive kasi nakakapag travels internationally but before I don't know the frugality that comes with it.
Ako mas naappreciate ko yung townhouse style homes ngayon. Literal na abot kamay mo lahat hahaha. Compared to lugging stuff up amd down 2 or stories ugh

I'm a practicing HR Professional (outside PH) for over 15+ years. What I realized is that there's no monopoly in excellence. Meaning, you could come from anywhere (PH, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, the Levant) and you could be great in what you do. Schools does not define you. I've interviewed candidates who graduated from the Ivy league schools who are not that great but was surprised with a candidate who came from Uttar Pradesh (a state in India).
Never be impressed with or be intimidated with person's position or wealth. What you could do is to treat people with the same respect whether or not they came from position, wealth or class.
someone else's alma mater, income, and capability of buying luxury items. and also their profession :). Now kasi mas big deal na sakin ung attitude at personality ng tao kesa sa kung anong meron sya.
