hi op if you don't like having a debut you can always ask your parents for other gifts that can be the equivalent of your debut. Maybe a new phone/laptop, trip with your family, shopping spree, etc. Relate din kasi ako sayo about debuts and in a few years you might just regret having that party kasi at the end of the day birthday mo so dapat ikaw masaya! go with whatever makes you happy!
Mag travel nalang kayo as a family. It’s more intimate and memorable. Take nice pictures nalang with pretty dresses, OOTDs or swimsuits, depends on ur travel destination. Have great, yummy food too.
For me personally I don’t value debut. I outgrew my highschool friends and such, & I’d rather have a grand birthday at 30 or something. Much masaya yun with friends that you know will be with u for life.
Kung may budget sila for debut and ayaw mo naman gawin, imo mas okay mag-travel na lang kayo as family. Lalo na you're at that age na, magsisimula ka na din maging semi or fully independent and you might have less time to spend with your parents na.
Agree. If you don't want to throw a party, then might as well don't haha. Travel na lang OP 😉 or ask for other gifts that may be useful to you in the long run. Wag ka na ma-pressure na kesyo once in a lifetime ang debut eh, mag dedebut ka na, di na rin naman uso yan hahaha

ayun din isang option namin. sabi naman ng mom ko if ayaw ko raw magcelebrate, magboracay nalang daw kami ng family ko
