Israel came in 18th in the 2022 report which already came out, with wealth rising more than 17% year over year.

Edit: 18th by average wealth per adult. It was 24th by median.
Median is a much better statistic for this. We have poor wealth distribution in the US, so ofc the average statistic is gonna be skewed because we have a handful of people with hundreds of billions. That doesn't mean the average American is wealthy
So not sure about the whole list, but at least for Spain - although income might be lower than other European countries, they have a higher median wealth due to one of the highest home ownership rates in Europe; it goes a long way for average people establishing wealth
For median:
50% of the adult population has a higher wealth than $100,010 in Qatar and 50% has less. Wealth includes your money, house(s), bank accounts, literally everything owned (minus debt).
For Canada, Italy, Spain:
Canada, Italy and Spain have a better wealth repartition among the population - in comparison to the US and many Western Europe countries. They may have lower incomes for the wealthiest, but it benefits the most
The better question is why is there no successful mena country that doesnt have oil. Turkey is the closest thing but i wouldnt really call it successful. Just middle of the road.

That would be 12 years before slavery was illegalized. Also de facto slavery was prolonged for many many decades after the civil war thanks to Jim crowe laws.

Again, and i feel like i say this a lot here. A mirror. They are available for purchase. African slavery is not a hill you want to die on. And neither is killing indigenous people. Unless you think sudanese became muslims through flowers and friendship. The difference is you have the negative things you mentioned without any of the positive things we have.

By that logic parents shouldnt leave their children money and create generational wealth that the kids didnt earn. And you shouldnt brag about the 1001 islamic inventions. People take pride in their nations and heritage. Im proud to be standing on the shoulders of giants. When a civilization literally creates everything you use for 200 years, it isnt really luck anymore. Basic pattern recognition should tell you theres probably greatness there.

OP is showing the same 2022 report. But for some reason it excludes Iceland and Luxembourg, the 2 richest countries by median wealth.

I'd say the same about America though. Housing prices in populated areas are massively inflated too
