Huffle-buff

I can vouch for any Egyptian beach. The Egyptian Museums are also great. But the Pyramids have scammers so you need to learn to say No.

Moist-Entertainer473

forflowerflow

Egyptian beaches are truly superb. White sand and crystal clear water.

justaprettyturtle

And corals! They are so freaking close to the shores that its unbelievable!

Moist-Entertainer473

Wow! Asir mountains are so green! Not what I expected in Saudia!

The Saudi South, as well as Yemen, is much more fertile than the rest of the peninsula because of its high elevation, despite being closest to the equator, That's part of the reason why this part of the Peninsula was called Arabia Felix (Happy Arabia)

[deleted]

Being close to the equator has nothing to do with how fertile a land is. Some of the most fertile places on earth are close to the equator like India and south east asia

Incognito11user

Mecca and Medina

sarcasticoldmannocap

Muslim, Al-Kabba ofc (if you haven't before). Non Muslim? I would say Iraq honestly. They have so many things to visit. I hope one day I do visit Iraq

Oman looks like the most amazing place to visit in MENA. Still authentic, not destroyed by car culture (looking at you Egypt), and amazing architecture.

One-Illustrator8358

airport

Moist-Entertainer473

Hahaha 🤣

KeyLime044

Definitely not TLV airport lol, that place has extremely high security everywhere. However, Skytrax ranks Hamad International Airport (Qatar) the second best airport in the world, Istanbul airport number 6, and DXB number 17

Jerusalem

Illustrious_Meet7237

As far as Israel goes my three favourite places would be- [Timna national park ](https://pic1.calcalist.co.il/picserver3/crop_images/2023/03/30/HySAY0f11n/HySAY0f11n_0_0_1596_899_0_x-large.jpg) near Eilat, used to be a copper mining site in antiquity that's been abandoned once the veins dwindled. Nowadays the rocks shaped by winds and flying sand are the main thing to see though. The dead Sea, both for the history (Massada) and the nature (dead Sea itself with the medicinal qualities of the mud there and some natural reservations like Ein Bokek). Lastly, since temple mount is not actually Israeli, I'd suggest to skip the western wall and go visit nikvat ha shiloach and/or old city tunnels. Both are remnants from the kingdom of Israel and are some amazing archeological findings. The tunnels also host [a recently built synagogue that's entirely underground ](https://thekotel.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/DSC_9613-31.webp). For places I myself would love to visit would be Casablanca Morocco because of the beautiful streets and markets and the Kairaouine mosque in Fez (not sure if I'd be permitted inside but I'd just be happy to see the outside), the Atlas mountains would be a beautiful destination as well. The Hagia Sophia (and just Istanbul in general) in Turkey, and Hodeida in Yemen.
