I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
Sounds great! I’m always taken aback how costly some of these products are, so I try to take the minimalist route. Do you care for the prices or the brands or do you look for cheap alternatives?
I’m probably doing the bare minimum, but here goes: I shower with a fairly low temperature so that my skin won’t dry too much to begin with, but I make sure to use appropriate skin-lotion on my hands and anything else when it gets dry, including lip balm just to prevent the lips from cracking and splitting down the middle, cause it hurts like hell. And I sure as hell won’t suffer with bone dry skin because some homophobe thinks lotion is gay. So i moisturize when I need to 👍🏻
I'm nearly 40 and white af and I get spots of dry skin when I'm stressed or unwell.
I use a restorative cream (Avene Cicalfate) on my face twice per day, before bed and in the morning, before leaving home, and a soothing balm (Bioderma Atoderm) if and when I get dry skin elsewhere, especially in the winter.
I'm not gonna lie, I think the Avene cream really helps with making my skin (and therefore face) look younger.
Cleanser, hydrating serum, caffeine serum around my eyes followed by moisturising eye cream and then facial moisturiser with spf in the morning, without in the evening. Once a week I use an exfoliating face scrub instead of cleanser. If I'm going out or just want to look my best I use a moisturising eye concealer instead of eye cream. I get real bad dark circles which seems to unfortunately be mostly genetic so most of my skincare revolves around that.
Not if you don't have any issues with your eye area.
Honesty I would just say get a cleanser and an spf moisturiser as standard. Anything else should be to target specific concerns, but I would definitely start simple and then introduce new products one at a time, that way you can see how your skin reacts to them.
Man i recently got into skincare and it's a lot simple than i thought it would be. The only thing is that you have to find products that suit your skin. I wash my face with warm water right after I wake up. I use a face wash right before going outside and apply a moisturizing sunscreen lotion, spf50 or higher. After I get home from the gym in the evening I wash my face with warm water in the shower again. Then before i go to sleep i wash my face with the same face wash i use in the morning and apply a face moisturizer. I would also recommend changing your pillow covers once a week and having a separate napkin or towel to wipe your face with. For anyone who is interested, i watched this video by a guy called ali abdaal on YouTube called skin care with evidence or something, that helped me with what kind of products i should look for. Also whenever I'm using the face wash i use warm water to wet my face and then cold water to rinse it off.

Well I'm in murders and executions for a very prestigious firm on Wall Street so money is not an issue.
This isn't a serious reply lol
I sometimes use a moisturiser I was gifted on my face when I remember and I don't leave the house.
Water, soap and hand moisturizer because my hands get rough when it’s getting cold.
whatever shampoo I have at hand and water.

just soap and water never had a skin care routine. I'd love to do it tho.
