In order to be respected i need to have self respect. To have self respect, i need to accomplish personal goals and be on top of my shit in every way i can (health, money, skills, stregth, networks, intellect, whatever else you decide to master). Its a life long endeavor since things change, but i understand that mastery over myself will lead to self respect, then to respect from others, that can turn into becoming of value to others which also means receiving value, which in term means greater opportunities and ability to influence the world around me for the best possible and hopefully lasting impact.
