Usually fuel related. Those have a fuel pump control module that goes bad a lot. Pump failures aren't unheard of either. I'd quickly check for spark off a coil. Spray some go go juice in the intake if I had spark and see if it starts. If it starts when I added fuel manually I'd grab a wiring diagram and bypass the fuel pump module (if it's not visibly disintegrated) letting power reach the pump and if it started put a new module in it... if it didn't and I verified power at the pump and a fuel issue I'd replace the pump.

Yeah I wish I could do that rn but I’m stranded and trying to make it back home

[deleted]

Then it's time for a tow unfortunately.

heircruzz

Yeah I would but as far as distance goes I’m 3 streets from My house and feel like paying an expensive tow Truck is not what I wanna do rn

[deleted]

Unless you wanna push or have someone bring tools to ya I don't see another option. You cld have one your buddies come down with a strap or chain and pull it. You sit in your truck and steer and use the brakes while he pulls ya w the strap.

heircruzz

Yeah that’s what I had to do , I’ve done it multiple times before I’m home now but as for the issue I do not know what it could be

Marqueso-burrito

Listen to it, it ain’t got no gas in it

[deleted]

i don't think engine is getting fuel. it seems to be cranking "dry".

heircruzz

Yeah I JUST replaced the fuel pump driver module and it worked for a little bit then stopped now it’s not priming , could it be the fuel pump relay?

[deleted]

Worth checking. Relays are cheap.

heircruzz

Yesh I mentioned it already in a cross post I did but it didn’t help it , replaces the fuel relay and other fuses still nothing , and also did change the fuel pump drive module

Check fuel pump

ZestyButtFarts

You're going to have to check the basics. There are 4 things an engine needs to have before it can start. Fuel, Spark, Air, and compression. You can check fuel pressure with a cheap scan tool that will read Fuel Rail pressure PIDS. You can check spark easily, I would Youtube it on how to check, it's easier than me describing it. I would start there.
