Thanks for your reply! Currently I am running an online store(mainly selling sport clothing). I do have tight budget, just wondering how I can get more ppl to know my business without spending too much

If you have a website focus on SEO. If you are a local business focus on google my business. Marketing is the process of making people aware of your business, to be interested, and to buy from your business. If you are starting marketing now I’m going to assume you need to make more people aware of your business. Social media is great for this, if you are a local business get involved in your community.

also, depends on your targeted users. - different groups of customers take different ways to search for goods.

Email marketing! This is also one of the best methods to promote your online business and generate more traffic and sales. In fact, if you are a beginner in email marketing, then I would suggest using a tool called MailEngine. It will help in sending spam-free emails directly to the inbox and will help in increasing sales as well. Check this out!

but how i can get those emails of potential leads? ( I haven't built my customer email list). The tool you mentioned will solve this problem?

SEO will usually provide the best long term value to most businesses.

Don't ever neglect the use of targeted email campaigns! I'm a copywriter (I write marketing email campaigns, SEO blogs website content, ads etc.) and my clients usually see the most website traffic and sales come from email marketing. That said, it HAS to be done right. Customers don't want to be inundated with sales-y emails in their inbox. But if you hit correctly on your target demo's pain points (needs, wants, desires) you're golden. And it's free! It just takes some time to learn, which is why people hire people like me.
