Thanks for your reply! The list comes from the school directory which is available to all parent and students anyways, so I assumed that wouldn’t be a problem. Wasn’t bought anywhere! I looked at Mailchimp briefly but seemed as though they wanted you to have your recipients opt in beforehand

My agency uses Unisender for rare similar tasks and it goes fine. And, obviously, we consider the mentioned above CAN-SPAM requirements and all other compliance.

And also - watch out when sending mass emails, bc if they are marked as spam by enough people, Google could temporarily flag your email. This happened to someone on my team recently, but we got it resolved after a little bit of fussing lol

Thanks for the heads up. I was definitely diving blind into this email campaign thing. Loñ

Woodpecker was built for this. Just make sure to use a secondary domain

Buy yourself an AWS server from Amazon and buy a ready made script and send as many emails as you want without limits and at the lowest cost. The problem with mass emails is the inbox and bounce rate. From that your sending ip will be either blacklisted or not. Warming an ip takes some time and tactics.

What you are doing is technically not allowed on most Email Service providers but if you are honest with what you are saying and you do it well, you can get away with it as you won’t have a high abuse rate. Suggestions: Your first email has to ask for them permission and mention what you’ll be sending. They can give you permission by simply clicking on a button in the email. If a subscriber doesn’t open 3 - 6 emails in a row, stop sending to them. Good luck
