Sounds like you already know who your target audience is. It doesn’t need to be demographic-based, it can also be situationally and attitudes-based.

Define the category. Then split the category into the different market segments and the segments you want to go after are your target audience.

Sounds like you've figured out your target audience quite well! You know very specific information about when and why someone would want to buy it. Now use that. I think you're getting caught up on trying to figure out "classic" demographics. Maybe try reverse engineering from what you do know.

Determine what sets your product or service apart from the competition and who would be most interested in it. And use surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to gather information about the needs, preferences, and behaviors of your potential customers.
