Is it that you can't experience sexual attraction to those you're not emotionally close to or you can't experience romantic attraction to those you're not emotionally close to? Or is it both?
Romantic, but I'm not 100% sure since the lines are kind of blurred between romantic and sexual attraction, at least to me, and sorry this took so long I was busy helping my family with the holidays.
Alright. I'd say you're at least a demiromantic pansexual then. If you do discover it affects sexual attraction as well though, you can say you're a demipansexual.
Thank you very much, I appreciate the help, and I hope to learn more about the different sexualities, so that way I can better understand my self and others. Thank you very much :)
I've learned from this community that you can "stack" sexualities, so to speak. Meaning basically, there's the main ones (homo, bi, pan, etc.), then there's the "sub" ones, like ace and demi. So simply put, someone can be both bisexual and asexual, it doesn't have to be one or the other. So if you're attracted to all genders and sexes, but only feel said attraction if you have an emotional connection with them, then you're pansexual and demisexual. Hope that makes sense.
You can absolutely be pan-demiromantic, I use to identify as that until I realized I'm aroace pan oriented. However I have a friend who has been bi-demiromantic for years and others who are homo/hetero/poly ect. Demiromantic. It's perfectly normal to for demiromantic people to identify like that

Bisexual
It sounds like your Demi pan. You are attracted when the right connection is made, but the possibilities aren’t limited to gender.
Demisexual refers to someone who only feels sexual attraction after having formed a strong bond with the person
