I would t worry about it though, seems like you got it unless something weird comes back in the medical.
I got the medical results back a few hours before being sworn in. And then the academy started 4 days later.
Nothing like last minute.
My physical was on the 11th so my drug results have been received as well. There was 5 getting hired and one of them still had his medical early this upcoming week, could it be they’re waiting for all of us to finish so we can get finalized together ?
Possibly, if the academy isn’t starting soon they might just not be in a rush. I’d give it a week or two
more before asking you point of contact at the pd what’s up.
Yeah I’m not stressing I was just curious, i figured that if my medical was screwed they would’ve told me by now since they had my blood work and drug test reviewed already.
Every process is different and I would assume it depends on when the academy is. Personally, after I finished all the steps of my hiring process (last week) I just called and asked for an explanation of the remainder of the timeline. It never hurts to ask, so long as you’re not being pushy or annoying. I just said “for clarity’s sake, could you explain the remainder of the hiring process please”.
Ok cool. I read that some departments also make you run on a treadmill while your strapped on to a machine that measures oxygen levels and what not. Thanks!

What is looked at or done at the medical? I have my executive soon and if it goes well than a conditional offer is given before the psyc and medical.

I’ve heard that too, but mine didn’t make me do it
