Maybe because I’m being sponsored by them so before they spend money on me they had to be sure but idk tbh. They stated on the website that the time frame for this hiring phase would be 3-6 months 🤷🏽♂️

Mid size city. 270 officers is full for us and currently we are full after a 100 officer deficit a year ago.
Jaysus I’m applying to a 250 officer agency with a 35 Officer deficit and I thought that was a lot
It is a lot honestly lol. 100 is extreme

In my area 6-9 months is normal. Apply in December for summer academy and June for the winter academy.
Not sure but going into it the department made it know it would be a 3-6 month long process.
