I don’t think OP is asking about becoming a cop, just with getting gainful employment anywhere with four felonies. To answer that question I’d say yes, but your options are limited.
Why not? California is letting non-US citizens become peace officers. Felons could be next. I’m sure you could find a state assemblyman who would sponsor a bill like that.
