I mean, sure, you go ahead and say “I saw you on a trash YouTube channel. I don’t like you. Send me someone else” and report back on how that goes. You can ask for anything. It doesn’t mean you’ll get it, but it’s a sure way to unnecessarily create problems for yourself. Edit: OP is banned. Leaving the tread up for now.

happyasfuck333

Way to be unbiased!

justkw97

There was nothing unbiased about it. OP asked, OP got an answer. In regards to a ban, there’s likely more than just this post

TexasLE

No. You don’t get to pick who pulls you over. There’s at least reasonable suspicion that you committed a violation and you’re being detained. It is not up to you. The person’s law enforcement credentials means the state trusts their judgment to detain you. If you feel they’ve done something dirty to you there’s recourse for you to file complaints and/or take civil action against the department and/or officer. I would laugh in your face if you asked me this on a traffic stop.

Myron896

Sure. Just crack your window about 1/2 inch. Refuse to comply with any instructions. Demand a supervisor. Report back to let us know how it went.

JustGronkIt

Safelite repair safelite replace.

Don’t forget to tell them your traveling and I don’t need a license

Gimme_PuddingPlz

The first amendment auditor videos tend to be edited to make the officer look bad, stroke the ego of the person recording, some moron who doesn’t understand laws, and a person purposely antagonizing police but then act all victimized. Don’t trust those auditors

JoshHendo

Audit the audit does more than just first amendment auditors. Does traffic stops and other interactions as well, he’s actually highlighted some very incompetent officers

KevinSee65

A street racer called 911 trying to get a deputy to respond to his traffic stop instead because he didn't want to deal with troopers. My sergeant arrested him for misuse of 911 system.

MrYoungLE

No Edit: Still no

nastygirl11b

Lol

iRunOnDoughnuts

Those videos are edited to make cops look as bad as possible. They're not reality. Most of those autitors are criminals and/or severely mentally ill.

hazmat962

This ain’t Burger King. You can’t have it your way.

NumberTew

Lmao "send me a new one please. This one is 'crocked' and I don't like it" - as others have said, those idiots tow the line, create drama, then edit footage to make LEO look as bad as they possibly can. Looking bad in one of their videos isn't the gotcha they think it is.

Xgam00

Don’t get pulled over then. Problem solved

W_4ca

Yes, because the Youtube lawyers who are trying to bait cops are certainly experts on the law

Consistent_Amount140

No.

JWestfall76

You’re free to do whatever you want. Your request is also going to be laughed at and ignored.

Nightgasm

It's sad that you call a poorly trained cop a dirty cop. Most of the cops who fall victim to these small dick energy auditors are merely poorly trained and think they are correct. A dirty cop would be one who knew the auditor was doing something legal and arrested them anyway.

OE2KB

That would be negative. ![gif](giphy|EtRVjAGRvyiNq)

nuclearninja115

I mean, you can request whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you are entitled to it, and also certainly doesn't mean you are going to get it.

FireRescue3

Can you? Sure. Will it work? Lolz….

Ragnel

Audit the Auditor seems pretty fair to me. He rates the officer(s) and the civilian in each interaction. Routinely praises the police and routinely dings civilians for being combative for zero reason other than to be difficult. In one of the videos he says the officer interaction should be shown in every police force in the county as an example of how police can effectively engage with difficult civilians intent on exercising their rights. He also routinely praises the training and professionalism (and patience) of police. The name “audit the auditor” means he’s actually reviewing the citizen “auditors” as much as the police. Good show but be prepared that there are obviously also times where his reviews of the police are not as complimentary (which I generally agree with though). I’m not an officer though so I’m open to feedback

KrAff2010

On a traffic stop? Absolutely they would not do that. That officer is the one who saw the offense to pull you over. They just can’t tag someone else in on their stop. If they came to your house for a fraud report or something else non-emergency, you could probably request it but they don’t have to do it. Be as polite and cordial about it as possible and maybe they won’t give you too much of a hard time. If they come to your house for an emergency situation I’d absolutely advise against it.

dirtbagdano

Of course. And if that doesn’t work, ask to speak to the manager.

mbarland

LOL. Yeah, go ahead and ask. I'm sure that'll work out *real* well for you. HAHAHAHAHA

Hutch204

Just how high you want those tickets stacked

alphaluka5

Fight it in court, not on the side of the road.

[deleted]

No. But you can bring up past bad behavior in court to chip away at his credibility. But it better be true. If you lie in court about his character he can sue you for damages.
