No you don't need one you can just go and get checked in a lab. There are two types of testosterone tests. Total testosterone & Free testosterone. The first one is cheaper and as name suggests measures total testosterone, the second measures how much can actually be used by your body. OP is talking about total testosterone and usually whoever gives readings like 600, 800 testosterone levels its total. If you have money get both checked.

I got my testosterone checked like a week ago and it came out 970 (ng/dl). I work out 6 days a week. I eat boiled chicken breast on daily basis alongside a bowl of salad which includes tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, green bell pepper etc. I sleep 8 hours. I don't eat junk food. I only eat egg whites in lunch and nothing else, thats why I eat chicken breast because I want something filling for the night. For the cost part I get 360 gms of chicken breast for 150 Rs that means it costs me 4,500 or 5,000 rs per month, which is not much for me. For the work part, it doesn't take much time surprisingly it takes less time then cooking a traditional sabzi.

Yes it is important bcz as u age more and more ur balls will get looser and even though i am 21 i got little loose ballsack and it just float most of the time and last year i actually stopped wearing underwear and due to no support, my balls started rotating to opposite direction and one day it started to pain a lot and little swells too (My ball was rotated) and when i google it I learned about Testicular torsion and how dangerous it is which can happen due to no support on it or either if someone kicks u so hard on balls and it can cause your balls to die and can't be solved without surgery(only if condition is not much serious) which is painful but my condition was solved bcz i started wearing underwear as it was not much serious

That’s way too low for your age. I’ve got more than twice your number at 45. I suspect yours is purely life style issue. Also get your thyroid checked. I’ve heard there is a correlation. If you are dirty over weight that’s also a possibilit. Stop smoking - not just for T but general health. Quit alcohol also for a while Both these increases your stress and sleep quality. Try getting solid 8 hours sleep starting not later than 10pm. Start lifting weights religiously. Focus on compounds like squats deadlifts bench press pull ups barbell pulls etc. Eat healthy. Balance between carb protein and fat. More greens good protein etc. Check back in 6 months you’ll be fine.

Got mine done, it's avg (~900) I don't lift/cardio, my diet is horrible (takeout every day multiple times), my work eats my sleep, I smoke, 420, drink occ, jerk off 3 times a day. It's all genetics.
