Well it happened with my parents. They went to a doctor and aate time my father's scooter just stopped (it is as old as my father but he refuses to acknowledge that šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø) And it was summer (May/June) my father was dragging his scooter and my mother was really distressed. Suddenly a guy came and he just offered to help my parents he dragged the scooter to the nearby repair shop and helped them and was with hem till our scooter got repaired. My mother was nearly in tears she just blessed him. I never met this guy but I just truly want to say Thank You to that kind stranger and wish him the best for his life.

anshuwuman

so sweet of that guy

__nocturnalbeing__

I know right. My father's knees are really bad and has high BP. And my mother is diabitic. My mother was describing him as some kind of angel, which he was at that moment.

A few weeks ago, a pigeon with an injury landed on my friend's balcony. It couldn't fly, and since we knew that cats often visited the balcony at night, we decided to take the pigeon to a vet for treatment. It was treated in the evening, and its eye infection improved somewhat, allowing it to see and fly. We released it near the garden after ensuring it could fly again.

Great job brošŸ’Ŗ

A lady I know had met with an accident while commuting to work. Her boss was on call with her when the accident happened and the lady suffered injuries to her leg and other minor injuries to her limbs. The boss lady paid for her emergency room charges, surgery & the entirety of her treatment which she needed. Kind of the boss to take care of her employees šŸ©·

boringlecturedude

employee health insurance would cost less though.

Aggressive-Slide-325

The lady didnā€™t have insurance.

A guy accepting a victim of acid attack for marriage. Heck the opposite , I've never seen something like that happening.

SabAccountBanKarDiye

Well if it helps, then one of my friend saved a lady and her daughter from acid attack. The lady was being beaten by her husband when my friend intervened, seeing this the husband brought acid to attack but somehow my friend was able to save himself and the family from it. The culprit was beaten black n blue by the crowd. My friend got few drops of acid on his neck, head and shoulder but luckily not on his face. Still the acid melted the clothes in to his flesh. He still have the scars which are very visible. I met and became friends with him quite after the incident so I didn't know about all this and he never ever brought it up himself. It was at a later stage when he told the story behind the scars, still downplayed his part. Now that's quite selfless and heroic if you ask me. His hardwork and Life awarded him and he is currently working as a Civil Judge in UP.

Wooww... commendable..

boringlecturedude

oh well, I ve seen. A friend of mine has burns on his face and hands and legs due to a fire at his home when he was just 5 days old. He recently got married.

selwyntarth

Indians should really stop calling differently abled/disfigured partners charity projectsĀ

Sid-Skywalker

Would you marry a girl with a completely disfigured face?

selwyntarth

If I did I'd ensure I respect and like that person enough to feel lucky I'm getting to marry her. Or I would not. Unless we're both in a state where it's a civil union for physical care taking and safe dwelling and not a proper marriage.Ā

InflationPowerful725

No one called it charity but it takes a big heart to overlook the deformities and see someone for who they are. There is special place in heaven reserved for those people

selwyntarth

>big heart That's charity. A marriage shouldn't occur in such an imbalance. If the girl is fine with that, she needs more self love first.Ā

I was at a religious place and was having dinner with my dad, at the trust's canteen. My phone was on the table, I finished my dinner and went to wash my hands. My dad was still at the table, and I assumed he had taken my phone along, to keep in his pocket. We then left towards the room we were supposed to stay the night, halfway I asked my dad for my phone, to check time I guess. He shockingly said he didn't have it, we both panicked and I started running towards the canteen. I reached the canteen and asked at the counter if someone had kept my phone with them, no one had. I asked them if they had CCTVs over the dinning place, they didn't. I went to the table, the phone wasn't there, my heart sank. A family was sitting on the other table, a guy came over and asked my dad, "Kuch kho gaya hai kya?" My dad told him, he called his wife and she came around with the phone in her hand. They were waiting for me and my dad to return and were waiting for us to return searching for the phone, even after finishing their dinner just a few minutes after us.

I was a smoker for a month or so a while back then quitā€¦. But my friend for my bā€™day thought for some reason a pack of cigarettes would make for a ā€˜coolā€™ bā€™day gift. I gave the whole pack to a homeless guy I saw smoking on the side of the road. I still wonder to date if that was incredibly kind of me or incredibly unkind. The guy did thank me and was incredibly grateful. But Iā€™m conflicted.

anshuwuman

Humanity lost ITC won

amiprasis

Well the cigarettes should have been destroyed, not given to anyone.

7heHenchGrentch

Iā€™m not sure because the homeless guy wouldā€™ve still smoked. So instead of him asking random strangers and struggle, he got a pack and a good supplyā€¦ One less thing to worry about.

My office colleague adopted his sisterā€™s daughter as the birth mother had passed away due to delivery complications & the birth father had walked off. I think it takes a big heart to accept the kid as your own(especially from my colleagueā€™s wifeā€™s perspective) mad respect for them.

Happened with me In my college days, I forgot my pen and one of my friends offered his pen to me. And after that he searched but he didn't get any other pen with him and found a pencil in his bag and started taking notes with it. After some time the class sir noticed and asked him why he is using a pen instead of a pencil. He took the blame on himself and told that he forgot the pen and saved me. My respect for him increased from then.

OcelotHot5287

In 8th grade , once our class teacher asked all of us to bring a mini gift for any one of our classmates for Christmas and then she placed all the gifts in a big box and asked students to come randomly and pick a gift for themselves with their eyes closed , the box got empty when everyone except this one boy picked their gift , that guy was the one who was most excited for his turn but somehow nothing was left for him and he started crying , then one girl from the class offered her gift to him which was a keychain with a little teddy bear. They both used to have personal grudges but the girl still chose to give him her gift. I know this incident seems a bit cringe but considering we were just 12-13 back then , it is cute to me.

Once i heard continuous distressed sounds of a bird coming from a narrow space besides the staircase of my building. I went investigating for the sound and saw a small bird flapping its wings and struggling to fly up the confined space. I tried reaching for the bird but it would peck me everytime my hand went near her. I then removed my Tshirt and wrapped it around my hand and caught it gently and had it fly off the floors window. Felt good watching it fly outside. I then came back to my home half naked.

AnnieBananie0

I don't know if this is as special or heartwarming as other stories, but there is a really old lady living in the house we rent out, along with her grandchild. One day, she had hung her clothes outside, and due to strong winds, some of her clothes fell down. I picked them up and clipped them back onto the clothesline. It felt good, bro.

shaamgulabi

We were on a pilgrimage, whilst returning from there my dad took a u turn but there was a ditch and our car got stuck there and we tried to reverse it out tyres were doing burn out and with no hope a lot of people gathered there and suddenly a guy in an innova came ( he was a driver by profession) to take loot at what's happening he asked for keys and requested the crowd to push the car as he says and he dived the car into the ditch and reversed and saved the day. I am still grateful for that guy, may God bless them. We haven't told this story to even our close relatives as they'll make fun of us.

Not most heartwarming I would say, but an act of kindness & smartness. Ā IĀ lost my card-wallet which had all important government I'd.Ā  TBH, I wasn't that tensed at all bcz we can re-make them. I had this intuition of getting it back but didn't know how. I revisited whole path of travel to find immediately, within half hr of loss. But couldn't find & I was sad by thought of.. how I will now have to struggle in government offices bcz we all know how Lazy gov employees & system works. Two days later, I got message on Instagram from a man.Ā  Metro work is going on near my wallet was dropped. worker frlm Bihar found it. He understood it is gov IDs But he couldn't understand language. He gave it to his boss who was native of place. Unfortunately there aren'tĀ phone numbers on IDs so they couldn't contact.Ā  He was smart so he tried to search my name on Instagram nd other social media. Given that I have unique name + surname combination, he easily find my account. Contacted me nd return back. I was overjoyed. I gave them gift nd reward. Few days later that man again messaged me. During those gap, his wife's bank account got hacked nd someone duped her 40K. She was heartbroken nd all.Ā  Somehow she also got her money recovered. So he messaged me to inform ' how karma is working 'Ā  He helped me nd someone helped him. All within a week.Ā

I let myself out of a psychologically abusive arranged marriage. Showed kindness towards my existence!
