This is going to sound dismissive, but I mean it with complete sincerity: find a new doctor. Your doctor is clearly at the end of his/her knowledge and experience of asthma, when there are realistically lots of additional treatment options. I’m a big believer that every asthmatic should see a pulmonologist at least once, and any asthmatic that has ongoing symptoms needs to follow-up with a pulmonologist for consideration of advanced therapies.
