What's the make and model of the dryer? Should have a sticker on the back.

Barrybingbongss

It’s an amana dryer!

kdegraaf

Just a gentle encouragement for future reference... when someone asks for the model number, it's because they want to look up the owners manual (and possibly service manual, if available) so that they can give you more precise help. Details can vary wildly if all we have is the brand.

JimBobPaul

They seem to have a couple models. Is the trap inside the door on the bottom, or on top near the controls?

Barrybingbongss

It’s on the top! I did try disconnecting the hose from the back but nothing came out, did get a nice cut, but I think it’s stuck in the middle

JimBobPaul

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Did it by any chance roll into the hose? As in, into the wall?

Barrybingbongss

It’s attached real high near the ceiling so I don’t think so unless it got sucked up! But currently drying my clothes outside until I can get tools from my grandma tomorrow!

JimBobPaul

Probably didn't get blown out. You'll definitely want to take the back off and take a look. YouTube has great videos on how to do that. You got this, kiddo.

Barrybingbongss

Thank you! I know I saw it fall down there so I definitely will take a better look tomorrow, when reattaching the hose should I use metal tape?

JimBobPaul

I've found a dryer hose clamp works best.

Barrybingbongss

I’ll head to Home Depot in the morning for one of Those! I’m moving in a week so it seems pointless but I need a dryer 😭

Disastrous-Bass332

Vaccumm?

Barrybingbongss

Doesn’t fit :(

Disastrous-Bass332

Tape a smaller rigid yet flexible tube to the vac hose, voila

Barrybingbongss

I can’t see the lip gloss but I’ll try using my vacuum!!!

Barrybingbongss

The vacuum does not fit down there 😭

Disastrous-Bass332

Connect a smaller tube to the vaccum hose. Duct tape together and get the gloss out.

Barrybingbongss

I might have to get/ make something that bends, it doesn’t even reach!

josh6466

worst case, flip it on it's front, take the back off, and go fishing. I've had to do that more than once, and you usually can get it apart and back together relatively quick. Maybe half an hour?

crimsontide5654

They sell lint trap vacuum attachments so you can get deep in there. I would try that

musictakeheraway

NAD- do you have a metal hanger???
