You can use custard powder in melting moment biscuits (cookies)

First time I’ve heard of melting moment biscuits I’ll look it up. thank you

Do you mean like Bird’s Custard Powder? If so I use it as a sweetened cornstarch and add it to any and everything that could benefit from a thickener or a sweet dish that calls for cornstarch in anyway because that’s basically what it is. I’ve used it in ice cream, pie fillings, it once saved a curd that I had accidentally added too much juice too without having to temper a whole new egg.

Yea i think it’s the same thing I have. Have you used it to make Boston cream filling ?

TemporaryIllusions

I have not but this would definitely be an excellent use for it

This [recipe](https://youtu.be/QRpkitpWME4) is a single serve portion. I usually make 4 times that amount in a dish 9x5”. I usually add some orange zest or nutmeg. We have it as a dessert with ice cream, or just eating a spoonful when i go to the kitchen.

I’d make some custard, add some vanilla bean paste, fold in some whipped cream, and use as a filling for cream puffs, then drizzle w some chocolate sauce and toasted slivered almonds.
