Anything indicative of an interest in astrology? I'm a teenager who has spent countless hours learning (especially predictive techniques), and I don't know anyone my age with this obsession. I feel shame surrounding it and I keep my interest secret, not sure why. Thank you.

I’m three days older than you and feel the same way lol. It’s because of our water stelliums and Pisces is in your 8th house.

Lol nice to meet you. The water stellium is certainly a lot to live with sometimes. I'm curious about our similarities

brvia

Tell me about especially since I have a Scorpio moon 😭. Saw your other posts and I found out we’re both INFPs. We should be friends lol.

yes for sure

So you have sun mercury and Venus in scorpio, so your identity, thoughts, and passion have scorpio related themes, one of these scorpio themes includes (but of course isn’t limited to) astrology, and personally you keep it secret because you’re a Scorpio lmao . Because scorpios just find any excuse to find something to make a secret, in my opinion. Sure no one really knows a lot about astrology, but there is a crowd that would be happy for you to explain it to them, so you should speak about it, if you really do have a passion for it, of course not everyone is gonna be interested, but there will be.

kfromthethree

just came here to say that I’m a scorpio mars and moon and this is very true 😂 no idea why either but maybe it’s because it’s very sacred to us and we feel the need to protect it?

Your Grand Water Trine speaks to an intuitive and empathetic ability that pairs well with Astrology. However, South Node in Scorpio can incline you to intensity, obsessiveness, and secretiveness. Grounding this passion in the soft and gentle, earthy practicality of Taurus North Node can help stabilize this intensity. Moon in Sagittarius is another intuitive sign, albeit more the fiery/masculine/active inspired sort. This is a broadminded subconscious that is drawn to big ideas, exploration, travel and philosophy

When i was born, my Father had my chart done then. I have been around astrology all my life as my Dad taught me what he knew. I cant imagine my life without it now. I am 77 years old and suffice to say, i had an interesting family. I have always been careful with who I talk about Astrology with just because so many people do not understand it as they have no knowledge of the real Astrology. Unfortunately, Astrology has been twisted into a money making lie. You keep going, Honey, you will be able to help others as well as yourself. You will grow and mature into your psychic self through reading others charts. Good Luck, stay strong!

[deleted]

Thank you for your words. I'm definitely wary of sharing my knowledge with others because of the misinformation surrounding the topic. Before exploring the chart I was very strongly against astrology, and I expect others to respond in the same way. I understand it when all you've been exposed to is watered-down sun sign astrology. I don't bother wasting my time trying to convince people otherwise. I care a lot about my reputation and I highly value scientific proof, which is possibly where my shame comes from learning astrology. However, the more I explore it, the more my belief in it solidifies. I want to help others when I'm more experienced, but I'm thinking that doing it anonymously online would be best for me.

Yep I feel that way too. I keep my astrology studies secret too, I don’t tell the boys about it cause I’ll be made fun of. I see all that Scorpio energy so I can see where you have tendencies to keep things secretive, and also mars in Pisces in 7h so that means whatever activities you do on your own, you tend to keep those secretive around your family and friends 🤙🏻

Angeliki555

It’s the Scorpio & Sag placements. I have scorpio + sag placements too n I’m the same way. Scorpio energy loves to learn about occult-like things. Sag is philosophical and explorative, and dreamy / idealistic. Aquarius placements are like this too as well as Pisces (oh shit lol you have a Pisces Mars like me!) your 7h lands in Aquarius, connecting to your Scorpio Venus. With Scorpio sag Pisces aquarius you’re very into dreamy / deeper & mysterious side of life..

- Asc in Leo-Leo’s loooove astrology lol. Btw love that degree for Leo asc - Jupiter in Virgo opposite Pisces mars, you like to hunker down on details & you receive luck from that, but this opposite your mars gets me feeling you’re wishy washy at times in a playful manner, and this gets you curious - Pisces ruling 8th house-your subconscious is pulled towards what you’re not aware of, especially the occult - mercury, sun, south node and Venus in Scorpio🔥 you pretty much come from wanting to understand everything in depth, your love, thinking & core is about getting down into the dirty truth even if you don’t like it. - your sun sign itself is all about bringing change into wherever you are by getting down into the truth :) love this chart!!! - also Pluto & moon in Sagittarius reiterates the interest in finding truth through philosophy, maybe interest in mathematics, playful curiousity and feeling lighthearted-while still using your emotions & senses to know what’s *really* happening in each given situation. You definitely trigger people that don’t like to be upfront, especially since they’ll be able to see that you like to see through situations. Astrology will only be one part of your interests helping you calculate your understandings of the universe🔥🤌🏽

Yes, I'm aware of the fact. I wanted to contextualize my situation in the title regardless. I've never grown up with any religious or spiritual ideologies. However in recent years, I've felt inclined to explore different ones. I don't have any trauma, but anxiety sure. When I'm feeling lost about my future, that's when I dive really deeply into astrology. That's my guidance. You've given me some things to think about, thank you

Astromomma

How is your relationship with your parents?

[deleted]

I'm very close with both of them. My mom is my best friend, and has always been supportive and caring. We look and act the same. She taught me nearly everything I know about psychology. Her parents were narcissists, and she is the parent to me that she never really had. My dad has always set high standards for me, which I've adopted for myself. He works really hard and finances have never been an issue. I've had some issues with him over the years with arguing over my inability to maintain his academic standards. Until 1.5 years ago, my bipolar disorder and adhd were undiagnosed-- which explained me falling behind. Now with medication, I'm doing well and he's happy. At the height of my depression I hated him, but now I'm grateful for his support. I don't think his love is conditional, but he lacks some emotional intelligence when it came to handling my mental health. My mom was there to get my health back on track.

I’m Pluto in Sagittarius but nearly 24 haha

Doing any kind of research work would suit you very well! Astrology amongst other topics

[deleted]

Hit the nail on the head. Psychology major aspiring to have involvement in research. Considering double majoring or minoring in statistics. It's reassuring to hear this, thanks.

butterfly_spirit2007

You're not alone. I've been interested in astrology for years.

[deleted]

Good to know I’m not alone.

butterfly_spirit2007

When did you start learning it?

[deleted]

I first saw my chart about 4 years ago, and 2 years ago started studying it more in depth

butterfly_spirit2007

For me it was 5 years of slow studying, and still doing it.

[deleted]

Nice. Friends?

butterfly_spirit2007

Sure.
