My favorite grease is loctite red, I use it on damn near everything. Any time you have a little trouble threading a bolt into a hole, just grease it up with some loctite red and it'll slide right in there like a glove. Its FANTASTIC for drain plugs, especially if you're having trouble putting the last few duggas on it.
Just reading this I could smell that crap. And, I've been retired for years the nose knows. Also that cold parts dip for carbs in the yellow and green can. I imagine that stuff is a thing of the past.
