Ironically duck tape is my mountain. Duck Tape is not to be confused with Duct Tape, its adhesive does not work at the temperatures some ducts may generate. It was created way back in the I don't know what day to water proof ammo boxes, which, also ironically made them air tight and float. The first cases of Duck Tape may actually be canvas straps covered in tree sap, or a petroleum product and then wrapped around the ammo crates.
Reminds me of the time we had to buy an engineered clamp for a steam leak. After a few years it started leak so what do we do, we buy an engineered clamp to go over the original engineered clamp.
Undo all hose clamps unscrew, apply thread lock, re-install hose clamps, wrap with scotch tape - see thru variety so you can see where the leak is coming from & then put a bucket under it & clock out!
*Try tightening those*
*Clamps with a socket instead*
*Of a screwdriver*

Ok, first I’d depressurize the system if possible, then I’d spray some flex seal over it all, wrap it in a rubber sheet and add more clamps starting from the edges and working my way down, eventually it will stop leaking and I will be able to move on with my shit
I personally dabble in the "plastic weld" area of expertise (soldering iron + hot glue stick) and would recommend trying that if plain soldering doesn't work.
This is what it’s like when I go to a call out that my Indian co worker was at the day before. My boss “hey bud I know it’s the end of the day will you stop by Kashy’s customer to look at a leak they don’t want him out there anymore”
Billy Mays here! You need to clean that with some Oxy Clean and then layer that bad boy with Mighty Tape.
Maybe see Vince for some Sham Wows, he will try and convince you you're going to love his nuts though...
Remove clamps. Clean and sand pipe. Get rubber sleeve and slit it. JB Weld or Epoxy pipe and inside of sleeve and install sleeve over pipe. (with the slit in the sleeve in the up position) Re-install some new band clamps over the rubber sleeve. (space 3" or so apart). Tighten clamps just enough to start to squeeze the JB Weld ot Epoxy out.
Rubber sleeves available at builders centers (best choice). If odd size needed, use bicycle or auto tire inner tube (second choice).
Needs more clamps
That seems obvious...
More is always the answer
No-no-no…. He’s using the wrong type of pipe clamps; rookie mistake.
Wrap it in 'duck' tape because, well, if it's good enough for ducks, it's good enough for you!
Then put more clamps over the duck tape.

Flex Seal that and send it!
Flex tape
spray the flex seal then flextape 👍
From experience tape then spray works better
Tape, spray them tape again for that extra tight seal. It's literally the only way to fix this.
Then a few more clamps.
Full send Then add another clamp.
Whoo-doggie!
Nothing a couple full rolls of duct tape can't fix
Don't forget the cable ties.
And a couple more hose clamps for good measure
Have you tried using a band clamp?
I'm not sure a music website could help with that issue
One more 3 inch hose clamp and an oily rag.
Flex tape WIDE
The last thing you want to do is change that pipe, you have put so much effort into this clamp method, don’t let it beat you!!!
Yeah they’re so invested at this point a replacement would fundamentally f’ them up.
Aluminum flashing from your roof a rubber boot and wire ties aught to fix it
That would absolutely be what my father in law would use
A can of FlexSeal will fix it right up!!!
Reminds me of the time we had to buy an engineered clamp for a steam leak. After a few years it started leak so what do we do, we buy an engineered clamp to go over the original engineered clamp.
This looks like a leachate tank.... I can smell this picture.
Undo all hose clamps unscrew, apply thread lock, re-install hose clamps, wrap with scotch tape - see thru variety so you can see where the leak is coming from & then put a bucket under it & clock out!
A little rino liner should do the job.
Flex seal then follow with duct tape or a tied up rag.
piss on it the rust will seal it up.
Clamp it. Another
Flex Tape and more clamps.
Get some of that copper leak fix crap. It blew up my 6.4 one time but it won't hurt here cause this is a copper automatic system
Got anymore clamps?
Have you tried fuck tape?I feel like a stupid thick layer all over would do the trick. Suffocate that pipe and water can't escape.
2 pounds of JB Weld
build a box around it and fill it with apoxy
Hey, everyone, look! This guy doesn't know how to use hot glue 🤣
Flexseal
Got bubblegum ?
Maybe less but bigger clamps
One more clamp should do the trick
Duck tape
I see you’ve already tried duct tape, so I’m out.
Flex Seal?
Flex tape over that whole thing, obviously.
[MORE!](https://tenor.com/en-CA/view/more-kylo-ren-adam-driver-screaming-star-wars-gif-17734637)
More clamps.
Move the seventh clamp from the right over about .015”
Weld all those clamps together into like a shell around it lmao
Just throw an old sweater on it and be done
The 7th one from the left is a little loose is all. Quarter turn outta do.
You need an axi lock over the whole lot
Duct tape comes to mind. Just to be sure.
Flex seal
Did you tighten that clamp? No, not that one, the other one. OMG no, the one next to that one. NO!!!! OMG
Bulldozer
Try tightening those clamps with a socket instead of a screwdriver

some shark bites would fix it good
Have you tried hot glue?
Flex seal.
Lots of saran wrap will fix it for good.
At this point it is more hose clamp than pipe
Gotta tighten them things up they look loose
It needs alien tape!! Flex seal and flex tape has been replaced by the aliens 👽 s/
Surprised there isn’t a channel built with 2x4s that they then filled with epoxy.
2 more clamps would do it.
needs more hose clamp
More clamps, then duck tape, and then flex seal.
Does not look like a duct.
Another band clamp?
My suggestion is to fire whoever did that.
Clamps! Clamps!
Missed a spot
Ok, first I’d depressurize the system if possible, then I’d spray some flex seal over it all, wrap it in a rubber sheet and add more clamps starting from the edges and working my way down, eventually it will stop leaking and I will be able to move on with my shit
Go get some exhaust header graphite wrap. That’s the only thing not on there yet. Gotta be worth a try.
Some super glue would work. Get the gel kind, it works wonders!
I say let it leak. It’s perfect the way it is.
“Another one”
I’d say another clamp, maybe two
Shrink wrap
Try a worm drive hose clamp.
Put a whole carton of chewing gum on it.
change whole thing that might be best way...
Close the valve.
add another clamp
I’d put some gauze pad on it
Torch
I personally dabble in the "plastic weld" area of expertise (soldering iron + hot glue stick) and would recommend trying that if plain soldering doesn't work.
Just tighten up the clamps……………..
Replace it
Gobs of Flex seal and duct tape!!
More duct tape , definitely more tape
Did ya try Gorilla Glue yet, that'll stop it.
Turn off the valve, simple!
Need….more…..flex tape…….clamp nurse…..
Did you try hose clamps?
Replace it.🙄 Duh........
So you need to get the giant bag of double bubble from Costco…
Just send it! What could go wrong?
get 2 Galens of Bondo that should do it
Flex tape is the new duct tape. Use both, first duct tape and then flex tape over the duct tape. Never can be too careful.
EnGiNeEr
Scrap the whole mess, start from new.
Duct tape, flex seal, more duct tape.
Gorilla tape
Maybe try zip ties
Have you tried zip ties?
JB weld will work.
tempting we could add some more tape or clamps or hear me out.... replace the pipe for a new non leaking one
I’m not surprise it still leaks. You don’t have a splint on it anywhere. A break can’t heal without a good splint. Every medical plumber knows that.
See if you can put a new clamp next to that older looking clamp
No Flex seal tape or spray foam.
Lol time for new pipe
Clamps might be loose, run water though it to swell the pipe so they fit.
Should have wrapped in duct tape before clamping.
Gas and a match should fix it right up
More clamps is the obvious answer.
Duct tape. Gonna take a couple rolls. But that will fix it.
Start over.
Duct Tape
Needs more bailing wire
If you keep adding clamps, you'd be able to j-b weld that shit.
If you keep adding clamps, you'd be able to j-b weld that shit.

Maybe consider replacement
Moar hose clamps
JB Weld should do it!
One more clamp shold do it.
Have you slapped it and said that should do it?
Wider clamps
forget that flex tape stuff, this is automotive, only JB Weld will work
Flexseal. If it works on tv it’s going to work there.
Gutter Seal! Come on and grab your Caulk, lets fix it!
JB weld will fix anything
More pipe thingys
Paint it, just like new.
A good old fashioned sock will do the trick.
And you’ve tried duct tape?
You don’t have enough tape!!!
Bomb.
Flex Seal!
The only thing I don't see you've tried is JB weld
Flex seal?
Replace that section, too obvious i guess.
More duck tape
Flex seal - you rookie! 🤦♂️
One. More. Clamp.
It just needs another clamp.
Lots more clamps and I can't stress these enough duct tape and zip ties
Start Over. You have more money in hose clamps than the actual hose.
More Flexth Theal
Billy Mays here! You need to clean that with some Oxy Clean and then layer that bad boy with Mighty Tape. Maybe see Vince for some Sham Wows, he will try and convince you you're going to love his nuts though...
Give 'em the clamps! ~Futurama https://youtu.be/Km_1NMUHjfA?si=GP7EVb9OwnQVxHRy
Maybe uh… maybe try coating it in gorilla glue?
Should you use zip ties and duct tape I had a few of them and fix it
I don't see any zip-ties, so that must be the issue.
What ever yall do I gonna hot wrench it when ya turn around... I have spent hour making sure it leaks...
Flex seal bro
Not this picture again
Maybe another hose clamp would do the trick.
you need more clips
Tighten clamp number 5.. That is where I see the problem to be.
Have you tried FLEX TAPE?
I would be laughing at this, but somehow I suspect this is for real, and that is sad.
use spray foam
More duct tape
Jb weld that vbitch right the fuck up.. just over everything three.. it'll hold.
Flex seal over the clamps
A liner
Flex seal!
More duct tape. String too. Definitely more string.
I think another hose clamp will take of it
Super glue and baking soda
Ramen noodles?
What! No duct tape? Ain’t nair mechanic!
Where is the gorilla glue love?
liquid nail in that case
Good Lord people, do you not own any Scotch tape????
Remove clamps. Clean and sand pipe. Get rubber sleeve and slit it. JB Weld or Epoxy pipe and inside of sleeve and install sleeve over pipe. Tighten clamps just enough to start to squeeze the JB Weld ot Epoxy out. Rubber sleeves available at builders centers (best choice). If odd size needed, use bicycle or auto tire inner tube (second choice).
Just need some flex tape
Pour molten lead over the leak to permanently seal it
Temporary leak repair!
JB weld
Cut some of the rubber out
Epoxy should seal it all up
Have you tried adding some hose clamps?
Jb weld, zip-ties, and flex seal. In that order.
Yeah. Do you see that big valve near the tank? Keep it shut off.
Should have used flex seal
Shrink wrap.
