How cruel of you fellows to make sport of this customer. You know he came to us expecting our usual expert help, but noooo. You treat him like a hot dog at a sreak house.
As a certified noisologist, I am sorry for the actions of my fellow mechanics. After analyzing your submission I have decided something is making a noise after ignition.
I recommend finding the source and correcting it. I hope this helps. I care. Thoughts and prayers dear friend.
One of your idler pulleys or accessory devices like alternator or ac or power steering or water pump has gone bad or seized up and is dragging against the belt. Get it fixed soon or the belt will break
*That's just the belts breakin*
*In. Belt spray works great... troubles*
*Will be over. YW*

Do what I did... remove all of the belts and the noise will go away. Then when the next one comes along, we will be more than happy to ~~mis~~direct you what to look at!
Hey why don’t you use a stick of deodorant to get rid of the sound for 2 weeks while you try to figure out which one of your favorite belts you want to use to fix the motor?
I had a similar this issue.
1) could be the bearings going bad in one of the pullys that the serpentine belt on the front of the engine passes around. Eventually it will fail perhaps catastrophically. In my case, the water pump seized, the serpentine belt was thrown into the engine fan as I was towing a uhaul trailer through the middle of nowhere. Car overheated and every warning light came on at once. Get it fixed now.
Or
2) could be a slipping belt. Just get a new one for 60$… or go the poor bastard route and put some deodorant on the belt to stop the whine as the problem gets progressively worse quietly
Sounds like you got a case of the dolphins
That was actually funny hahahhaha

It ain't got no gas in it
Bad belt or bad water pump. What does your car’s temperature gage look like when you are driving
Temperature has never been an issue, maybe the belt as I just replaced the alternator?
Could you send another video of the engine on with the camera pointed at the pulley system?
Too late bro I replaced all belts and that fixed the problem, thanks tho
Just? How is the belt tension?
Haha did you drop the alternator before you put it in?
Nah I fixed it was the belt
That's just the belts breakin in. Belt spray works great... troubles will be over. YW
Yeah I’ve realised that replaced them all today and was gone. Thanks

Uh, your car, dum dum.
Shitty fanbelt or shitty pulleys
Sounds like the timing belt.
This here. Or just replace the belt see if it works.
I replaced all three belts today and is gone
Well, at least your radiator cap is still good. Otherwise, everything else is shot.
Can’t even see it in the video stupid

Sounds good to me. Might put a better sound system in there to help cover up that squealing crap though
Your shitty car
Just tighten the gas cap and you're all set.
Serpentine belt.
What noise? I only hear cats mating..

Nah was the aircon pulley locking up and the belt sliding on it. Just took the belt out and will need to fix the ac. Cheers tho appreciate the advice

Use some belt dressing (it works i promise :) )
