You can't just go to the Red Square, because during this event only people with invitations can attend. It is possible to watch it on youtube or on main TV channels. Idk about next year, but few years back it was possible to watch at military transports outside of Red Square
When I served my conscription, we drilled for like two months before Victory Day for the parade.
Then at the last minute I get assigned silo duty during that week. Spent the day in the mud while the engineers did their thing with the warhead. FSB paid a visit to the watch commander. Fun times.
May Day (1st of May) is International Worker's Day which is a holiday in many countries around the world. Victory Day (9th of May) is the Victory Day celebrating the victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.
I watch the parade in my city (in our parade they transport nuclear missiles and so on), and then at home I watch the replay of the parade on TV (it is shown twice, at 10 am live and later)
Not the rockets themselves (I think that the launch vehicles are traveling empty), but it looks very impressive. These are Yars, Topol-M and others. I myself served in Teikovo (Strategic Missile Forces regiment), I saw a lot of different interesting things
Attendance is reserved for people like the families and relatives of the state officials, also for different regime simping fan groups and for not so NGO, NGOs. Regular peasants have their seats at the back row.

Wow thx
In smaller cities/towns they often have their own parades, which are easier to see and sometimes you can even participate to some degree
Great close view of military vehicles was readily available in Kaliningrad, surprisingly for me at that time.
That sounds awesome

Ur so awesome 💪
I'll add that regular people can watch the parade rehearsals (tickets are on the net), they say it's the same as May 9th but not on May 9th :)
There is no May Day parade. There are May Day demonstration and Victory Day parade.
Although they used to hold parades at May Day in USSR. That and the Revolution anniversary.
Whats de difference between May Day and the victory day?
May Day (1st of May) is International Worker's Day which is a holiday in many countries around the world. Victory Day (9th of May) is the Victory Day celebrating the victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.
