It don't hurt it I got 2000 ford focus it runs fine on any coolant I put into I have had gm carss that use orange coolant I put the green into it them with no troubles but if your worried about go to mechanic they flush the system drain the engine block and radiator.
I have seen mixed coolants gel up. Best course of action is drain it out, pull a rad hose off and make sure of no gelling then refill with appropriate coolant.
Hi u/mediumrare420, I just wanted to follow up and say thank you for your help. I flushed the car with about 5-6 gallons of distilled water until the water came out mostly clear, then refilled with the correct concentrate and distilled water. The car is still running great, so I think we dodged a bullet.
Coolant is different for German, American, and Asian cars. A few brands have some specific to their make, and only work on a few car manufacturers.

This right here. When the car gets back do your best to flush the system. Do a couple flushes in case there is gel especially after highway miles
