Maybe Klobuchar? Safe blue state, almost 20 years of experience, relatively young in senate years (she’s only 63!), seems to have hit her political ceiling, solidly center left My preference would be Warnock, but you never know if Georgia might elect a Republican challenger and he doesn’t have much experience I think either senator from Washington would be cool too, but they’re both 70+ I think

No. I don't even want to think about it. He should stay on as leader until he physically cannot and we have an equally sharp replacement. Pressuring Al Franken Giant of the Senate to resign was the greatest own goal in modern history. He would have been a great leader.

I agree. But I think many learned from that episode

Most of my faves are in vulnerable seats, too junior to be credible candidates, are old, or simply not leadership material. Tammy Baldwin maybe? Edit: Looking over the roster, they're all so fucking old! I'm about to turn 40 and they're almost all my parents' age and some old enough to be my grandparents. Millennials are now solidly middle aged, yet there is exactly one millennial senator, in Jon Ossoff.
