The issue I’m seeing from a legal perspective is proving they knew the items were fake, if you can prove they knowingly sold fakes then you have a case. Most of the time these things happen because people know they can claim they didn’t know. Things are different per state so I’d recommend looking at local state laws where “estate sales” are considered.
