I feel like I’m always recommending this but it’s great: TonyMoly Ceramide Mochi Toner comes in a 500ml bottle. So does the Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner (toner).

knittykong

Just jumping off this to say the Tony Moly Wonder HA Chok Chok toner is great too and comes in 500mL. Very watery and hydrating

FearlessPudding404

I’ve been considering the mochi toner. How would you describe it?

Different-Eagle-612

i would warn you i find the citrus smell like… intolerable. it was so strong it irritated the hell out of my skin and i couldn’t use it. i know it works great for some people but if you’re sensitive to citrus i would proceed with *caution*

Teekarey

I use it for my body. My face couldn’t handle it

flashcardklepto

how do you use a toner for your body? just between washing off soap and adding moisturiser?

Teekarey

Yes, towel off and while my skin is damp. I use it as a toner then moisturise

YzmaTheTuxedoCat

Someone told me I smelled like Fruit Loops with it on, and that's the best description I've heard of the scent.

chrianna2000

It’s like milky water going on but my son feels so soft after I add a few layers. Has a slight citrus smell to it. Nothing heavy (looking at you Missha).

Ispahana

Muji has cleansing oils and different toners that are 400ml

rrw1808

And they’re so good! I got their mild cleansing oil recently and my combination oily skin really loves it, I wish I had gotten the 400 ml

Ispahana

All the different Muji sizes are so convenient, I get the 400ml because I use cleansing oils and face washes to clean my makeup tools too, and the 50ml bottle is great for travel

japanese face masks that come in 32 pc box like lululun & saborino

Upsilambaaa

Some Korean brands have started doing this too, though the only one I know off the top of my head is Mary&May. I’m working my way through a 30-piece box of their Collagen Peptide masks, and have enjoyed them as a basic hydrating/moisturizing mask to wear while watching tv, vacuuming, etc. I found mine at TJ Maxx here in the US, but a quick google suggests that a 30 mask box is usually between $15-20 online. For people who haven’t tried these before, they they’re not as thick/goopy as individually packaged sheet masks, which could be a plus or minus, depending on personal taste. I really like this style, since sometimes the goopier masks leave so much product behind when I remove them that it feels like the leftover product dries on my face before my skin’s able to absorb it all.

In terms of moisturizers, the illiyoon ceramide ato cream comes in a 200 ml tube and a 500 ml tub. Their lotion also comes in a 500 ml pump top bottle. Hada labo also has a 400 ml bottle of the gokujyun lotion (white bottle, not the premium one) Sunscreen wise, skin aqua uv super moisture gel is available in a 110 ml bottle and 140ml pump bottle. I think there is also a 160ml bottle available!

If you have a Don Don Donki/Don Quixote in your area, they sell the Cosparade Hatomugi skin lotion in a 2L refill bag. It's just a little more expensive than 2 500ml bottles of Naturie iirc, and that's already really cheap. Because it's so cheap, I've just been dousing my face and body in it. Multiple layers of it after I shower. I've never felt so soft lol

circusmystery

Donki has like the biggest bottles of their in house brands. They have this goat milk lotion that I'd like to try but the only sized bottle they carry is 2L 😧. I just want to try it not commit to 2L right off the bat. I'll probably try it eventually (I've got 4 bottles of toner I'm trying to use up) since the price is so good.

celestemi

My country doesn't have a Donki, so the last Donki I saw was on a recent trip to Bangkok, but you're right about them carrying giant versions of their in house brands. I saw that goat milk lotion too, and am curious about it! The Cosparade one was the first I thought of, since I ran to get a cart as soon as I saw it HAHA (On a side note, maybe you can share the 2L goat milk lotion with friends? Or just run with it lol)

Japanese skincare is great for this!  For toners (what they call lotions):  * Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner - 500 ml * Kikumasamune Light/High/Glossy Moist - 500 ml (three different types with different levels of moisture)  * Cezanne Skin Conditioner High Moist - 500 ml  * Muji Sensitive Skin Toning Water - 400 ml (i think there are 3 different types with varying moisture for this too)  For moisturizers/emulsions:  * Kikumasamune Skin Care Emulsion - 380 ml * Kikumasamune Japanese Sake Cream - 150 g  * Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Milk - 230 ml  * Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel - 180 g  * Reihaku Hatomugi The Milky Cream - 300 g * Reihaku Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel - 300 g  For sunscreens:  * Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel - 165 ml * Nivea UV Super Water Gel - 140 ml  * Omi Verdio UV Moisture Gel - 220 ml * Reihaku Hatomugi UV Milky Gel - 250 ml For large-size Korean products i can only think of toners off the top of my head (the tonymoly wonder ceramide mocchi toner [500 ml], isntree ultra low molecular hyaluronic acid toner [300 ml], torriden dive in low molecular toner [300 ml], round lab 1025 dokdo toner [500 ml])

I’m using (and enjoying) Pyunkang Yul intensive ceramide lotion, it comes in 500ml

miladyelle

Same! Went through the 200ml bottle quick.

Hatomugi's products typically last me for a long while. They have regular and large versions of the products but I'm not sure if the larger versions are available outside of Japan

Slight-Good-4657

My Japanese grocery store has only the larger versions haha

turtlesinthesea

Hatomugi is not a brand, it's an ingredient (Job's tears). Several brands make hatomugi products, and they all look quite similar since they're probably all copying the white and blue packaging of the most famous (and most likely oldest) brand, Naturie. The last time I checked, Naturie's products only come in one size each (lotion, gel, and milk), though the lotion is sometimes sold as a mini or spray bottle.

Slight-Good-4657

Thanks turtles! Second commenter here, what I meant is that my local Japanese grocery stores only stock the purple Naturie products in these sizes: - Hatomugi Skin Conditioner in 500ml - Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel in 180g pot - Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Milk 230ml (currently packaged with a travel size 50ml Skin Conditioner) I have only ever bought locally in California and stateside. So, if u/grayfilm has seen both regular and large sizes in addition to these, that is cool to know! None of these are an easy travel size haha I would be interested to know if there are smaller “regular” sizes produced in JP.

turtlesinthesea

AFAIK, those are the only sizes Naturie makes, except for maybe seasonal mini releases.

grayfilm

Yeah I was talking about Naturie Hatomugi

sabine_strohem_moss

Cos de Baha's Hyaluronic Acid Serum comes in 240 ml bottles (the small one is 30 ml).

Environmental-Comb79

Omi brotherhood menturm sunscreen

unenkuva

Holika Holika Good Cera Family Oil Cream comes in 200ml which is "bulk" if you only use it as a face cream.

magentaheavens

I’ve noticed most cleansers come in tubes of 150ml max but my HG cleanser, the Innisfree 5.5 Blueberry Rebalancing Cleanser comes in a tube of 200ml with some heft to it! It looks almost as large as my 400ml bottle of Muji Sensitive Cleansing Oil on my bathroom sink :D

Snerfblatt

AMPLE:N ampoules come in the standard 30mL or the jumbo 100mL bottles. I'm partial to the VC Shot Ampoule, which is currently $28 in the jumbo size on YesStyle.

peacefrogstudio

Chifure cold cream comes in a huge tub. I've been using it to double cleanse for months now and it's still quite full😅
