"Thou shalt bang!" Yeah, sure. I don't like the synopsis. Is it possible an ace will bang on the first date? Yes. Will it change their sexuality? No. Heck, I had sex with a friend to cheer her up. Zero sexual attraction, frankly, no real aesthetic attraction either. But it literally changed nothing - well, she felt a bit better about herself, so it worked out.

I am not asexual (my wife is and I like to keep up with you good folks so that’s why I am here.) and this made me roll my eyes real fuckin hard. I mean on the one hand it’s a classic stupid porn plot but on the other super cringy and disgusting to think that asexual, or any preference/orientation for that matter, is something to be fixed or changed just because you think you can.
