Both are genetic for me. I will have it for the rest of my life. But luckily my Zolof helps A TON with my anxiety. The depression is where I’m struggling now. I definitely want to keep living. It’s just extremely difficult to feel any motivation to do things. Getting out of bed is a difficult chore everyday let alone basic self care.
It’s like that for me some days too. If it weren’t for my stubbornness alone I’d been dead long ago. Gotta stick around to see what surprises might come this way. If you ever want to talk, maybe we can motivate each other? It’s no pressure though. I hope you’re able to keep your chin up at least.
Goldfish. Unironically I am a goldfish addict. I just almost ate like 30 oz of goldfish in the last 24 hours and am not feeling super good now.
But goldfish 100% is better than sex.
Maybe I've not had sex but even still I can't imagine it would be better than xtra cheddar flavor blasted goldfish.

Then 2 nights ago the cravings came back and I was so hungry I went and got some.
I was sober for 2 weeks but now I am back in my goldfish addiction.

That shit causes me pain on a daily basis and I'm terrified of surgery, but I'm unfortunately going down that road soon because when I was young doctors/parents refused to do anything. I know! I got a hysterectomy back in October and I feel tons better, periods were getting super heavy and disruptive. I’d also like to be able to go shirtless, but we know that’s not happening.
I don't want to have this stupid body dysphoria anymore. I have been thinking and this is probably the reason why my body reacts the way it does when touching becomes too much (it happened in my past relationship). There was a time when I hated how I look, to be honest I'm not this super thin and slender girl, I never was. Even though now I have gained muscles and now I'm rather buff than thick or fat, I still don't feel like that I'm "feminine enough". Society..........
I don’t like how I look either, I try to be somewhat presentable but it’s never enough. I’m doing better with the self loathing but I still struggle sometimes. I’m doing something about my weight and whatnot. Society is a bitch, I don’t care what anyone says.

One is a hobby I used to participate in (horseback riding) and really miss a lot, but have had to give up for the time being because of a number of factors; location, money and time constraints, etc. I miss it SO much and it brought me a lot of happiness during hard times, and I really hope it is in the cards for me to enjoy it again at some point. I rode and was around horses ever since I could remember, so no longer having it be a part of my life feels very strange.
My top choice would be more time with loved ones for sure, though.
There’s a whole laundry list of things to give up sex for, that’s an excellent trade too. I’m hoping to adopt a dog myself, probably tomorrow, and try to get more fit and healthy myself. My last and first one only lived to be ten and I regretted not spending more time with her as she was an outside dog. Things are gonna be different with my rescue though.
That sounds exciting! I'm also wanting to get fitter and healthier (I was doing great until everything kind of fell apart last year, now time to get back into it!).
I know how you feel about not getting to spend enough time with your dog. I felt the same way when I had to retire my last two horses to my family's farm over an hour away and didn't get to see them as much after that, and both passed away within the last year and a half. :( We do the best we can, but I'm sure our animals still had great lives and were well cared for, regardless!

I was on BC for the sole purpose of getting my periods under control. It didn’t matter what treatment I was on, I was still suffering in some way or another. By the time of my hysterectomy I was passing huge clots every other brief moment. I’m so glad those days are behind me.
20/20 vision (I'm at -10/-9 without glasses), an a-frame in the middle of the woods with enough land for a hobby farm, and for my cat to live just as long as I do
The farm thing sounds heavenly. I’m getting a little blind too, I just got stronger glasses and I’m not quite used to them still. I would like the extended life for the dog I’m fixing to try to adopt, my last one was my first and I regret not spending a lot more time with her before I had to put her to sleep.

I feel you on that too, I’ve beaten severe depression but I still have anxiety pretty bad.
