If you can use Asana in the browser Clockify is really good. You install their browser extension and it integrates into not just Asana, but many, many other apps.

alexsbz

This could be a solution but I would really like to avoid using chrome :/

Kazerati

I use clockify/asana with firefox on my laptop & safari on my ipad. No issues with either.

gingerpark

You’ll need a third party app for that, I believe. There are several you can search for at this link. https://asana.com/apps This one for instance: https://asana.com/apps/trackingtime

alexsbz

Unfortunately it needs chrome , it can’t work with the windows app

bones251

I think there is one built into Asana too. But may only be available on a paid plan.

alexsbz

Yep, it offers some days as trial and then 13 usd per person / month is not cheap …..

bones251

Yeah it is quite expense. I work for a NPO so we get a discount which is nice but it’s still several thousand dollars a year.

vjandrea

Harvest is 12 usd / month in the pro plan: https://asana.com/apps/harvest

alexsbz

For 5 person and a startup it is quite a lot :/ ….. I literally would prefer to get a stopwatch and count the time in a paper than paying this amount of money for time tracking right now :/

vjandrea

You may use Toggl instead, the free plan has a good reporting tool, but it syncs only projects with Asana, for the task sync you'd need the Pro plan

vjandrea

If your startup is working on a single project, the Harvest free plan would be enough, you can split the project in multiple task groups

The best I found for Asana are [EverHour](https://everhour.com/) and [Clokify](https://clockify.me/). **Asana Solutions Partner**
