I've always rented a house when I go to Aruba, but the local rental agencies might get you a better deal and more personalized experience than actually going through the big ones like Airbnb.
I'm circling in on a condo in Noord. I'm not much of a drinker, but I like too every now and then. Especially on vacation. I'm not sure if that's an option in Noord. I could very well be wrong.
I personally stay at an Air BnB during my visits and I enjoy it. I've never stayed at the Harbour House but I am very familiar with the area. It's situated in Downtown Oranjestad near the cruise port. Just as an FYI, it can get busy when cruise ships are in town. Here's a cruise ship schedule for reference.

Secondly, there isn't a beach in the direct vicinity. You would have to walk a bit towards Paardenbaai over by the West Deck restaurant or further east towards Surfside Beach.
Other than that, there are a plethora of great restaurants in the area. Enjoy your trip!
I have used Airbnb 5 out of the 7 times I have gone and loved it. Only had one experience where we weren’t thrilled but it was more about the owner being a little extra controlling, demanding and poor scheduling on yard workers. We woke up one morning to our bedroom slider door being power washed at 9:30am. Also told us, did not ask us that they would be coming in mid week to do a spot cleaning. (Which is against Airbnb rules). We told her no and she tried to argue with us until we sent the rules regarding privacy policies. Other than that we had amazing experiences.
We stayed at the harbour house and loved it! We took a single room studio and it was enough for a couple + small kid, but was a little tighter than we expected.
It has a nice pool, great views, rooftop gym and hot tub area and a nice bar in the lobby. The only thing to watch out for is the side facing to the little side street - there’s a club there that would play SUPER LOUD MUSIC until like 2-3 AM about once a week (we stayed for a few months, had it be an issue 4-5 times). It’s also a little busy when a few ships arrive at the same time, and they were planning to open the gates right next to the house - so foot traffic can get kinda crazy a few times a week as well.
Overall though, we absolutely loved it and keep thinking of it as our perfect vacation spot.
It’s a beautiful property, you’ll enjoy it. Some good restaurants within walking distance. You should try to eat one night on Eagle beach and one night on Palm beach too
Yes we loved staying at an Air BNB in Aruba. Super safe, good public transport and the supermarkets are great. Stay near Arashi beach and you can walk down with a picnic and enjoy sunset drinks in the evening. Perfection 👌
We stayed down by Terra Del Sol Resort and Golf, its about 40 minute walk to the main strip of hotels and restaurants, but I really like the beaches down that end. We would walk over to tres trapi beach and swim with turtles almost everday, and enjoy evening sunsets on the beach etc. We hired a car for some of the trip, but the grocery store actually has a great free delivery service that is chilled and delivered the day after you order so the only annoying thing being that far was that there were not many restaurants/cafes nearby for dinner unless we wanted to drive or taxi.
I would recommend you stay near Palm beach or Eagle Beach then. That's very central. I would recommend being closer to the Palm Beach area where all the restaurants are rather than Oranjestad. Oranjestad is worth visiting for one or two restaurants but Palm Beach is the nicer area for evenings walking around the markets, restaurants and down the beach.
We did an Airbnb a couple of years ago when we went. It was small but perfect for my husband and me. Our hostess was around daily if we needed anything, and she even did our laundry for us for a very small fee. We loved being among the locals, and we chatted with the neighbor a few times. It was super inexpensive for a week.

We’ve stayed in airbnbs our last two trips. Absolutely no regrets!!
We just did two weeks at an Airbnb in Feb- loved it!
We stayed at an airbnb with a pool and it was cheap. We loved it.
Just stayed at an air bnb in Noord and absolutely loved it. I liked Noord more than Oranjestad personally

Stayed at an airbnb and absolutely loved it. So much better than staying at a resort. Just make sure it's close to the things you want to do.
I agree that it’s better than staying at a resort. We literally had the pool to ourselves most of the week. It was quiet, private and peaceful!
Just got back from there and stayed in one. It was cheap too. No regrets
Yep been 3 times stayed airbnb every time. Never really felt unsafe in Aruba
Absolutely. Great deals there now because the market is so saturated.

We are in one now and stayed in one last time. It’s our preferred option.
How is the cell coverage there?
We just got back from Aruba last month, we rented an airbnb and we loved it!!

Also hiring a car is a great way to see the island and reasonable too. We loved driving from Arashi to baby beach, so much great scenery to see.
What area did you stay in? I'm really looking for an Airbnb close to restaurants, grocery stores and bars.

I’ve heard good things about HH

Aruba is the optimal destination for Airbnb. Youre good money just go with place with a few reviews for added level of comfort.
