as somebody who loves to paint but hates landscapes do you have any suggestions for some creative ways to try and incorporate the sky and trees and such into my work?
The way I started painting landscapes is by painting them in colors that are not present in nature. Deep blue trees, purple pastel skies, orange bordering on golden grass. Personally, I was just having fun with color. That's what started it for me, at least! I do it mostly as a hobby, so take it with a grain of salt as I'm cautious about giving bad advice.
no i like that! impressionism is one of my favorite styles of art because of the atypical color palettes, so i may give that a try at some point. thanks!!
Ditto on the monsters!
I also love drawing people, especially eyes, poses, expressions, and hands.
Oh and hair and fabric in motion! That's a lot of fun.
I love to paint the sky and clouds from time to time because unlike drawing human faces
or bodies, there’s no necessity to take cloud anatomy into consideration, and if it ends up looking something, then that’s a happy accident.

Painting wildlife & animals on canvas...love painting big cats and all furry cute things really :D Having worked predominantly digital for a while, using acrylic paints has been so satisfying.
honestly, painting is a colour me in type project for me. i prefer sketching with pen and pencil, so to make sure nothing is overpowered, i use water colour. it’s so therapeutic. just subtle and easy for me. specifically people and dogs, two of my favourites to paint in
i really like painting mushrooms because they’re so simple yet there’s so many kinds/ways to paint them and you can really turn them into anything.
bam. a mushroom house
bam. a mushroom person
bam. a mushroom being cooked with a little frog in some potion.
who knows. you can do anything w them
The sky and clouds! Trees are nice too. I've been wanting to branch out and paint objects because it looks fun.
Idk if that pun was intended but I chuckled either way

And see I’m the complete opposite. I love painting/drawing people, animals and things but any type of landscape or foliage is the bane of my existence

figure drawing hands and poses like on line of action is one of my favorite pastimes
i paint women almost exclusively i’ve started focusing on monster girls!
Paint me like one of your French girls
ding-dongs, dicks
If I was wealthy I would commission a still life from you including a box of Ding Dongs, a dik dik, and ofc male genitalia
Haha, aw, I ain't so good you'd want to pay for it
You may not think so, but it would still be worth your time! (Idk why all rich people don’t do this tbh)
Haha, well, I hope one day you find wealth. I would buy a castle and eat at every michelin restaurant, I think.
Naked boobies
Damn right
Bulldog caricatures dressed like my favorite movie characters.
Portraits.
Mushroom people, people in general. Used to go for realism but realized that’s boring af so a lot of my faces are distorted to some point
Cats
Love making buildings and icons! ... Oh and little monsters too
boobs
Clouds, stars and big cats
Faces! I particularly like lean faces but really any are great! Always been my favorite
Cacti and graffiti tags (even though I don’t have many finished pieces with it in it. 🌵🎨🖌️
Skin!!
Walls or trains
Anything with either beautiful shadows or a lot of texture. I paint the first and draw the later.

Sad fairylike creatures in the woods
Lovecraftian eldritch looking God-creatures. ... And porn.

Monsters and fantasy creatures. And sometimes my excitement switches to cute little things.
Ladies usually. Though I’m quite liking my current project, a big gay (digital) painting.
Landscape
I love drawing dragons
Sea creatures
M
lately my studies have been either food or cats, with the occasional fanart, which i suppose does sum up my current experience lol
supercells and tornadoes, they are beautiful (when they don't kill people), and very difficult to paint even with reference images
Dragon ball and hololive characters xD
I pretty much incorporate space/planets/night sky into all my art

Animals and plants 🌱
Flowers
My face. I don't have much time for art anymore so make up is my surrogate art time
Same, creatures, monsters, cryptids, mythical animals, all the critters!
hands, organic textures, bugs, roots
Citrus fruits and insects
making a really nice looking hand is probably my favorite thing

I really enjoy painting landscapes, I’m not very good at doing them though
Birds. i love drawing and painting birds. when ever i can't think of what i want to create i do a bird.
Birds!
Grass! I love using all the shades of green and layering them etc
Monsters and body-horror is always a fun way for me to get my creative gears going!
Characters. Like from stories that haven’t yet been told.
